Congrats on the launch! Cool idea, stores interested to be more sustainable, give something back with every purchase, can easily implement this. The UX, landing page and product however I feel can be a lot better. Can it just donate to the common, established and trusted funds? There is a wildfire in Canada now, so would be cool to be able to donate to trendy events happening in the world. UX, I personally feel like receiving a separate email with my purchase is pushy, but I get that it's much harder for you to get every integrated company to adjust their existing emails. If you're donating 1% of your purchase, it can be cents, it's not worth for you to open that email even, at this point it promotes your service and pushes person to donate more. I think if the person converted, the store is happy and person won't care about what exactly happened to that 1% but would still feel happy about it. As an idea, person could choose how much to donate on checkout/cart/PDP. If you're targeting people in general, not customers of specific stores, it can even be an extension or a banking/stripe/shopify integration that will take extra from every purchase on every store, this way you could really see, over time, how your contribution helps. Can subscribe to follow on future updates with the project. I don't think a big % of the people checking out will be really interested to follow up.

Love this idea! Been looking for something like for our leisure B2C travel business. A big issue I’ve seen with other giveback platforms is greenwashing where the money doesn’t actually go to help. How could our users trust this is actually benefitting and doing good?

@justin_govy Thanks! We connect teams around the world that plant trees/extract plastic from the oceans/protect wild animals from poachers, and so on. During the checkout in the store, the person chooses the project he or she likes (this functionality will be added soon). Immediately after the purchase, a person receives an e-mail that his 1% is credited to the project of his choice. Next, the team implements the project (eg extraction of 5 tons of plastic), posts the content and we deliver that content to the person in the mail. The customer can also watch in real time how the team is using the funds. Just like in the banking app you see a history of all your transactions, in Humance you can see in real time what the funds are being used for.
