Great product! I would like to know whether relevant pre-training is carried out before generating AI Interviewer, such as knowledge base learning, common scenario question and answer, etc.?

@wayne_appgrowing Appreciate this question! Our AI Interviewers are trained on real-world data and proven science. We analyzed over 4M+ interview interactions to define the anatomy of a strong interview, then partnered with experts like Dr. Katherine Hilton (linguistics) and Dr. Grin Lord (psychology, mpathic) to minimize bias and boost predictive validity. On top of that foundation, interviews are tailored to each company and role so the experience reflects the brand and needs while staying fair and consistent.

Finally — a tool that makes the job search less about waiting and more about connecting. Nobody likes sending applications into a void. Excited to see something built to actually improve the candidate experience!!

Okay, I’m intrigued. 24/7 interviews mean you’re not ghosting good candidates just because your calendar’s a mess. And the bias-reducing stuff? That’s huge if it actually works. Can you make the candidate side feel personal, though? Like, tweak it so it doesn’t scream “robot” to applicants?

Hiring is the worst when you are a startup with no HR muscle. This AI interviewer idea sounds like it could save serious time, especially with that 40% more candidates stat. The 85% cost-per-hire drop is wild, how’s that math check out? Here’s my worry: AI’s great for consistency, but can it pick up on the human stuff, like if someone’s a culture fit or thinks outside the box? And for a tiny team, how much work is it to get this thing running? I’m curious but don’t want a setup that’s more trouble than it’s worth. Spill some details!
AI powered interview product really helps recruiters..... Does it customize into different verticals and industries?

@cruise_chen Good question! Today, our AI Interviewers are focused on recruiting across industries and can be customized through role-specific questions and scoring. We’re also building an avatar that acts as a career coach by helping candidates match their skills to the right roles and apply with confidence.

@noah_abby_boabilwe_letamo Haha thanks! A lot of hard work from our team (and plenty of testing) went into making this possible. Excited to see it out in the world!

How does this benefit candidates themselves? The effect on them is notably nowhere mentioned in this post or website.

@theinfinityjims Great point, and you’re right, the candidate side deserves just as much focus. With Humanly, every applicant gets a chance to be interviewed, not just the ones whose resumes happen to have the “perfect” keywords. That means qualified people aren’t overlooked simply because of formatting or phrasing.
The interviews are structured, consistent, and bias-aware. This gives each candidate the same fair shot while also allowing them to show their strengths beyond a resume.

Interesting. How do you disclose to the candidate that this is an AI interview?

@meadfly Thanks for this question! Transparency is key. Candidates always know they’re speaking with an AI interviewer. We also give them control: they can ask to repeat a question, pause to think, or even ask their own questions. The goal is to keep interviews clear, supportive, and respectful while making the process faster and fairer.

@birchf what’s the candidates perception or feedback to the company? Curious how it impacts candidates.
Really interested, also super curious on what this does to the candidate long term. Does it create more connection because it shortens a process or does it create less connection because the first touch is AI.

This solution seems useful and saves recruiters man-hours. However, what happens if the conversation takes an unexpected turn, for example, if the interviewee makes a joke or starts asking the AI interviewer questions?

@sofia_lane Excellent question! Candidates don’t always stick to a script, and we expect that. If someone makes a joke or asks the AI a question, the system is designed to handle it gracefully: either responding where appropriate or gently steering the conversation back to the structured flow. The goal is to feel like a natural interview, so it’s never rigid or “broken” when things go off track. Since every exchange is captured, recruiters can still see the full context, including those unscripted moments.
