Hi everyone!

I'm one of the developers behind Inkr, and I'm excited to share that we've introduced many new features since our last launch!

One of the biggest features I helped build is Live Transcribe. Now, you can see real-time transcripts during recording! We also support Pause and Continue Later, so you can pick up right where you left off. All audio data is securely saved to the cloud in REAL-TIME, so you never have to worry about data safety. You can even start recording on your phone and continue on your desktop!

With our newly introduced Ask and Notes features, you can jot down key points during meetings or brainstorming sessions. And if you ever forget something important, just ask! Isn’t that handy?

For those who want to compare two edited versions of their transcript, Edit History has you covered. This is another feature I helped build — no more worries about accidental deletions!

Don’t forget to check out all the features we’ve shipped! And here’s a little secret: use the code INKR2PH on Product Hunt to lift the limits (wink).

Love how Inkr is going beyond just transcription. Being able to talk to your transcript and get answers sounds like a game-changer for researchers and students. Curious how well it handles multi-speaker audio?

Minfa Wang

@rydensun Thanks so much, Ryden! We’re really excited about pushing the boundaries beyond basic transcription—making transcripts interactive is just the beginning. 🙌

Great question on multi-speaker audio: Inkr currently supports typical speaker diarization, and we’re actively improving it to handle more complex, overlapping conversations—especially for use cases like group discussions and interviews. Stay tuned, and we’d love your feedback if you give it a try!

INKR is a game-changer for productivity! Turning audio into structured content in seconds is a huge time-saver. The real-time transcription and AI-enhanced notes are incredibly accurate. A must-try!

Minfa Wang

@brant_lin Thank you so much, Bryant! We’re thrilled to hear Inkr is making a real difference for your productivity—that’s exactly what we built it for. 🙌 Really appreciate the support and kind words. Can’t wait to keep improving and bringing even more time-saving features your way!

Alex Indie
Very excellent transcription software, it has helped me a lot, thank you!
Minfa Wang

@axindie Thank you, Alex! We’re so glad to hear Inkr’s been helpful for you—that means everything to us. 🙏 If there’s anything we can improve or add to make it even better, we’re all ears!

Ask Inkr sounds revolutionary for audio searching. If I query 'What deadlines were mentioned?' in a 2-hour meeting transcript, does it scan for both explicit dates and implied timelines?

Minfa Wang

@desmond_ren1 Great question, Desmond—and thank you! 🙌 Yes, Ask Inkr is designed to handle both explicit mentions (like “May 20th”) and implied timelines (like “by the end of next week”). It uses contextual understanding to surface relevant parts of the transcript, even if the phrasing isn’t exact.

That said, we’re continuously improving its nuance and accuracy—especially for time-sensitive queries like the one you mentioned. Would love to hear your thoughts if you give it a spin!

I've noticed that Inkr doesn't emphasize collaborative functions like meeting follow - up. Instead, it focuses on the accuracy of transcription, which reflects the team's high - level attention to product quality. Some similar products have a lot of functions, but they don't do a good job with the most basic aspect of transcription accuracy.

Minfa Wang

@andrew_wy Thank you, Andrew—really appreciate the thoughtful observation. You’re spot on: through our own analysis, we found that many of the errors in meeting notes and summaries across tools actually stem from inaccuracies in the underlying transcription. That’s why we made accuracy our top priority from day one.

We spent a huge amount of time refining the engine and giving users full control to edit and polish the transcript—because if the foundation isn’t solid, everything built on top starts to crumble. Collaborative features like meeting follow-ups are coming, but we wanted to get the basics right first. Thanks again for noticing!

This solves a problem I’ve run into often—too much time lost replaying voice notes and sorting messy transcripts. Inkr feels like a smart, AI-powered fix that can save hours. Congrats on the launch!

Minfa Wang

@auroraw Thank you so much, Aurora! We know exactly that pain—digging through voice notes and cluttered transcripts is such a time sink. We’re thrilled Inkr feels like the fix you’ve been looking for. 🙌 Appreciate the kind words and support!

Daniel

Congrats on the launch!

@dan16 Thank you Daniel!

Shawn Dean

Loving the Ask Inkr feature. It's like having a research assistant built into every transcript! Definitely recommending this to my team.

Minfa Wang

@shawn_dean Thanks a ton, Shawn! We’re so glad you’re enjoying Ask Inkr—that research assistant analogy is spot on. 🙌 Really appreciate you spreading the word to your team, and we’re here if you ever have feedback or feature ideas!

Dake Zhang
Very cool! How’s it differ from otter or granola in your own view?
Susan Pan

@dake_zhang1 Thanks Dake! Great question, compared to tools like Otter and Granola, Inkr focuses more on speed&transcription accuracy, flexibility, and also what happens after. For example, Ask Inkr can instantly help yousearch transcripts, extract insights, and summarize without scrolling. Plus, while many tools focus mainly on meetings, Inkr is designed for a wider range of use cases. Other than live transcription, we also support pasting link from various video platforms for speech-to-text.
