I've spent the last 13 years as in-house marketing for early-stage B2B SaaS startups. My first roles were at companies with a free trial model - PLG funnels. I always said that if I got the chance to join a company built that way, I would. I believe it's the right way: let users try the product instead of sitting through demos and sales calls. Even better when it's cost-effective enough for smaller teams who can't afford the big players.

Then came Testifly. I recently joined as co-founder and CMO because it's PLG, cost-effective, and solves a real problem: it's autonomous AI QA that finds your web app's flows and tests them without you writing test cases or maintaining anything. I got into this community through a rabbit hole that started with something dumb: I had 50,000 unread emails and got curious about what that was actually costing, energy-wise. Ended up down a research hole on data center emissions, cloud AI vs. on-device inference, and how much of what we call "paperless" quietly isn't as clean as it looks.

That's led me toward caring a lot about on-device processing generally not just for privacy, but because the energy difference between cloud and on-device AI inference is bigger than most people realize (some of the research puts it at 75-95% less power for on-device).

I'm curious how others here think about this trade-off. For those of you building AI features are you defaulting to cloud APIs for convenience, or have you looked seriously at on-device models? And separately, does the "green tech" angle actually move the needle with users in your experience, or is it a nice-to-have nobody really chooses on?

Hi everyone, I'm Bugra from Istanbul.
I work at the intersection of software architecture, security, distributed systems, blockchain and AI. I'm most interested in problems where correctness actually matters: systems that move money, coordinate distributed state, enforce authority, communicate in real time, or have to keep working when things go wrong.
I started working in cybersecurity and offensive security early, later moved into blockchain and distributed systems, and eventually into large-scale backend architecture and technical leadership. I previously worked in R&D at Huawei, and today I remain hands-on while designing and securing production systems across microservices, cloud infrastructure, real-time communication, authentication, authorization and distributed backends.
Rust, Go and TypeScript are the languages I spend most of my time with. On the deeper systems side, I work on protocol design, consensus, P2P networking, cryptography, zero-knowledge systems, ZKVMs and blockchain security. I also contribute to and review open-source infrastructure projects.
Outside of professional work, I build my own products and research projects. That currently includes x402Shield for AI-agent payment authorization, TryMarketOps for B2B signal intelligence, Budlum and BudZKVM for blockchain and zero-knowledge research, and RadeBrowser, a Rust-first browser experiment.
What keeps me interested is usually the same thing: finding a difficult boundary between disciplines and trying to build something real there, rather than stopping at a prototype or another API wrapper.
I joined Product Hunt to meet people building ambitious technical products, discover interesting infrastructure and developer tools, and share some of the systems I'm working on.

I have spent enough years around dispatch desks and flight departments to believe that most operational losses do not come from bad decisions. They come from good decisions made too late, on a picture that arrived after the moment to act had already passed. A routing change confirmed an hour after the fuel was ordered. An airspace restriction noticed once the aircraft was already committed. A fuel price accepted because nobody had time to check the alternative.

If you ve ever stared at a messy time series dataset and wondered where to even start, I built this for you! It s an app designed to take the headache out of exploring and decomposing regularly sampled data (hourly or greater).

The "Why" behind it:
I wanted a tool that didn't just give me a raw plot, but actually helped me understand the structure of the data. tseda uses Singular Spectral Analysis (SSA) to break things down into Trend, Seasonality, and Noise, but it does the heavy lifting for you automating window selection and suggesting component groupings so you aren't just guessing.

I'm Hiurich, a non-technical solo founder who learned to code by building. I'm based in Venezuela and I've been lurking on PH for a while, finally decided to stop lurking and actually show up.

What brought me here:

I'm a developer based in Tunisia, and a few months ago I went down a rabbit hole looking at rental property tools. What I found was a weird gap: every landlord app I could find was either built for property management companies juggling dozens of units expensive, packed with features nobody with 2-3 rentals needs or it was a bloated all-in-one platform asking for a cloud account, a subscription, and access to tenant financial data before you'd even added your first property.

Meanwhile, the actual majority of landlords I talked to (renting out 1-10 units on the side, not as a full-time business) were just... using a notebook. Or a spreadsheet that breaks the moment two tabs get out of sync. Nobody had built something simple for them, and definitely nobody had built something that didn't treat "put your tenants' financial data in our cloud" as a given.

So I built LandlordPro a rent tracker that does the boring-but-essential stuff (who paid, who's late, expense tracking, WhatsApp/SMS reminders) without asking for a cloud account or collecting data. Everything stays on your device.

It's live now, still early (I'm the whole team ), and I'm genuinely here to learn from this community how other solo devs think about privacy-first products, how you all approach pricing a niche tool, and honestly just to meet people building things.
