My name is Ari, and about a year ago on this month (Sept. 2026), I discovered the meaning of my life. My meaning is quite simple actually (so I think). My meaning is to help others live their lives with meaning just like I do day by day.

So, I decided to start a journey of developing what is now called Tartelo.

Hi everyone! I m new to Product Hunt and would love some advice from people who have launched here before.

I m preparing to launch Datasparks, a business intelligence and data analysis platform focused on helping teams organize, manage, analyze, and visualize time-series data. The product itself is live and I feel like we re at a point where it s ready for Product Hunt, but I m less sure about how to prepare for the actual launch.

A few things I d especially love advice on:

• How long should I be active in the Product Hunt community before launching?

• How much should I be engaging with other launches and discussions beforehand?

• What did you do before your first launch that you think actually made a difference?

I've spent the last 13 years as in-house marketing for early-stage B2B SaaS startups. My first roles were at companies with a free trial model - PLG funnels. I always said that if I got the chance to join a company built that way, I would. I believe it's the right way: let users try the product instead of sitting through demos and sales calls. Even better when it's cost-effective enough for smaller teams who can't afford the big players.

Then came Testifly. I recently joined as co-founder and CMO because it's PLG, cost-effective, and solves a real problem: it's autonomous AI QA that finds your web app's flows and tests them without you writing test cases or maintaining anything. Testifly was built for startups, small teams, and solo developers without QA.

Hi all I'm Martin, based in London, building iOS apps solo (mostly under AIERT LTD).

I got into this community through a rabbit hole that started with something dumb: I had 50,000 unread emails and got curious about what that was actually costing, energy-wise. Ended up down a research hole on data center emissions, cloud AI vs. on-device inference, and how much of what we call "paperless" quietly isn't as clean as it looks.

That's led me toward caring a lot about on-device processing generally not just for privacy, but because the energy difference between cloud and on-device AI inference is bigger than most people realize (some of the research puts it at 75-95% less power for on-device).

I'm curious how others here think about this trade-off. For those of you building AI features are you defaulting to cloud APIs for convenience, or have you looked seriously at on-device models? And separately, does the "green tech" angle actually move the needle with users in your experience, or is it a nice-to-have nobody really chooses on?
