The problem I kept running into: turning an idea into a real, deployed app takes forever. Not because coding is hard, but because everything before coding is hard. Requirements, user flows, design, architecture, task breakdown... most solo devs and small teams skip half of it and pay for it later.
We built iCustoms, an AI platform for customs and trade compliance teams. Every day, customs teams receive trade documents from dozens of suppliers in different formats. Someone reads each one and rekeys the data into a declaration system by hand.
That's where errors enter. Wrong values trigger CDS rejections. Shipments get delayed.
iCustoms fixes this. Documents come in, data gets extracted, validated, and pushed directly into ERP systems and HMRC's CDS via API. No rekeying. No manual mapping.
