The New Uber Rider App - Where to? See upfront fares & estimated arrival times

by

Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes – day or night. There’s no need to park or wait for a taxi or bus. With Uber, you just tap to request a ride, and it’s easy to pay with credit card or cash (in selected cities only)

Loved Uber already- can't wait to see the improvements in my future uses.

Uber's brand new experience is super sleek. Love the animations and cards they implemented. Only downside: wished the app started faster. It's going to be a hit.

Good stuff! My main issue is that occasionally when taking Uber Pool, I'm required to walk 5-7 minutes out of the way. to get picked up This hasn't been a positive experience and I think pool is ideally a product that picks you up right where you are. Despite a few poor experiences, this has become a daily utility for me.

this is so well done!

Great job! The design is really clean and easy to use. It's one of the few homescreen apps I enjoy and frequently use.

Love the new app but splitting fares should be more intuitive. The feature is hard to find and requires too many steps.

While I do understand why this new version is supposed to be better, I preferred the old one. The start location is pretty imprecise and it's harder now to select the start address. As far as I'm concerned, "Where to" is a good second question, but the correct first question will always be the current location. Also I'm concerned with the new business profile, the "invoices" provided are far from acceptable for our (french) tax office and other services provide more suitable business services (like a monthly invoice and payment by direct debit, for example). It's a good start but there's room for improvement.

Not a fan actually, when I open a ride sharing app the first thing I want to do is get the car on the way. Then I can add the destination while waiting.

How do I thumbs this down?
