Komodo 2.0 - The fastest way to record your screen and interactive guides

komodo is a very robust and truly awesome video tool. it's constantly being updated and improved, with an incredible set of functionalities. I would recommend Komodo for anybody who needs to record, send or edit their video presence. it has also an amazing PDF guide that can be very helpful when you need to explain a process to someone. highly recomend.

How this is different from Loom and neetoRecord. I liked the free plan but Loom and neetoRecord are better priced pro plans right?

I use Komodo. I used to use Loom, but I find Komodo is a much better experience for me. I consider this one of the essential tools I use to communicate to support desks (when things don't work as they should,) and also for my outsourcers on Upwork. The tracking that Komodo does naturally and email updates help keep everything on track. If you need a screen recording software, you can't go wrong with Komodo!

I gave Komodo a try yesterday now that there's a Windows app, and was really impressed. All of the features are really impressive, and the time between me finishing the recording to the video being uploaded / ready to edit (I stuffed up and it took me a bit to stop the recording, so needed to remove 10 seconds at the end... 😂) was almost instantaneous. I was seriously blown away. I haven't tried the click guide yet, but it looks like a great replacement for ScribeHow based on the ProductHunt video. I couldn't figure out how to get my video avatar to show in the recording, even though it was visible during the recording, but that's likely a user error on my part. I found the video page also didn't have any of my branding, even though I've changed my settings to include my brand colour, logo and favicon. But again, that might be a user error, as I see there's a feature for landing pages, and I haven't looked into that yet.

I have been testing tools of this type for a long time because none met my demands and more than a year ago that I have stopped wasting time in these things. Komodo has created a very practical tool for our use case: support in a SAAS You have all the options you may need, with a clear interface and a fast server. He does his job in a splendid way.
