Congrats nao on the launch!

Appreciate it!

Wow, this is such a cool concept! I’ve always had the idea of energy levels in mind, but managing them intentionally and visually has been difficult—especially since most productivity tools focus only on time. A productivity tool that optimizes when to do tasks based on actual energy levels feels truly fresh and insightful.

Congrats on the launch, Lifestack team! Love the unique insight—excited to see where this goes. 🙌

Nao Yukawa

@jjjay Exactly! I had the same frustration and decided to build this product 😎

I love it, it's similar to GTD's contexts when you assign energy levels to tasks and filter based on them. But this takes a lot more into account to create better task lists. How does it know which tasks need more effort?

toma

@ayham_ayoub hey ayham! yes, GTD is a big inspiration. currently, we have labels for tasks which allow us to know which tasks require more effort -- we are thinking of ways to predict and automate this as well

Ayham Ayoub

@_pikachur Hmm, you can use AI to parse it and assign an effort value. 'Changing a bulb' is a lot more effort than 'changing the light fixture'

Honestly, I've been searching for something that could help me with burnout, match my energy level, and reflect the same on the calendar. The product sounds like it could be a real game-changer for people like me. It's exactly the kind of thing I've been hoping to find! Amazing work, you guys :).

Nao Yukawa

@anushree_khubele Thank you! Excited to hear your thoughts :)

Oh man, I wish I had this app when I was in college! I have a few questions:
1. Does it have a pomodoro timer for focus while working on scheduled tasks? (tide.fm is my go to for this)
2. Can I mark the scheduled activities as tasks as done? What happens to the one that are incomplete? Is there an easy to help manage the unfinished tasks?
3. Since wearable data is not mandatory, does the app perform better when wearable data is connected? For eg, does it learn and adapt from my stress levels, heart rate, menstrual cycle phase etc.?

Nao Yukawa

@aishwaryalohi All great questions!
1. We don't have a pomodoro atm, but we should definitely have it (I can see myself using it in Lifestack lol). Will add it to our roadmap!

  1. Yes you can mark tasks as complete/incomplete. We don't do anything special to incomplete tasks, but maybe we could add a feature like auto rollover or something

  2. Yes the energy calc becomes more accurate with wearable data. Currently, the biggest difference is sleep stages, but we are planning to use more data from wearables such as Heart Rate Variability and Menstrual Cycles as you mentioned.

Lifestack sounds like a really smart way to plan the day! I love the idea of scheduling tasks based on energy levels instead of just filling up a calendar. If things change last minute, does the AI adjust the schedule automatically?

Nao Yukawa

@jonurbonas Thanks thanks! Our AI scheduler cannot adjust dynamically atm, but we'll definitely work on that!
