Comes as part of SetApp, so my primary laptop is covered.
Have used the previous version for years without a problem.
Pros:Does a great job of cleaning up the system, new tools to check for update for software (like Mac Update) is very welcome.
Cons:Moved to a early cost (had a family license)

I would use a lot of apps to delete all the unnecessary data from my desktop, but CleanMyMac is simply the best!

First off, respect to the devs, this is a really well built app. Don’t be distracted by spammy alternatives, if you want a Mac cleaning app look no further.
But please beware of maintenance minutia.
Seeing those temporary files disappear, all those apps updating, that ram meter go up and down - it’s all very satisfying and addictive… but ultimately distracting. Not having to worry about virus scanners, endless updates and memory management is why I left Windows for Mac, I don’t want to bring back maintenance and monitoring to a machine which works just fine.
If your goal is to be more efficient on your Mac, first look at what you can remove rather than what you can install.
Pros:This is a very well built suite of satisfying maintenance tools
Cons:The performance returns may not be worth your time
