Matter - Read-it-later, reinvented

All these comments make me feel I am missing something epic! Can't wait for it to be available on Android.

Beautiful product, still just getting started with it, but looking forward to diving deeper into what feels like a new way to read on the internet 🤔

Best reading app hands down. I’ve been using it since the beta and it blows Pocket and Instapaper out of the water. I love the easy highlighting and sharing, as well as the excellent curation. Regular improvements ranging from considered tweaks to new features too. Reading without the bullshit.

Awesome! Can't wait to try this out! Do you support export to Kindle? Similar to how Instapaper has a pdf digest that they email to the kindle email address

Been using the Matter app for months now. I love it so far! However, with the latest update, the "play as audio" feature doesn't work with most of my articles, also have suggested a few suggestions/feedbacks to @benspringwater. Hoping that he and the team would take care of it. :) Cheers to the public release 🥂

What a cool product. Could you possibly share some insights? Can I post a link to any content? How did you solve this technically without infringing on anyone's copyrights?

I absolutely love Matter. It has become one of my favorite apps--one I use daily. If there's content I want to read and be able to refer back to down the line, I send it to Matter. It's amazing at curating interesting content, including timeless, older pieces I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. I love the social aspects, where I can see what friends and other people are reading and highlighting. I love the highlighting and have been syncing them with Readwise, which has only been a reminder for all of the thought-provoking articles I've discovered. I'm only sad that my curiosity will forever outpace the time I have available to read all the great content I find. But with the searching and tagging, I know I can find the relevant article(s) I'm looking for. If you at all enjoy reading, whether articles, newsletters (including Substack), blog posts, twitter threads, etc., you owe it to yourself to get Matter.

A feature rich and pleasant reading experience made for the internet. However, what I value most from !Matter is the curation. The staff does an excellent job recommending thoughtful articles with big ideas. Highly recommend!
