The Most Dangerous Writing App - Don't stop typing, or all progress will be lost.

The Most Dangerous Writing App is the most dangerous way to keep yourself focused. Keep writing, or the text fades away and disappears forever.

Pretty #BadAss! I've been listening to Brian Koppelman's podcast heavily and trying to commit myself to Morning Pages. Maybe this could be just the ticket! Did anyone try "HARDCORE Mode"???? Fogged/Frosted UI obfiscating your words! #EPICSHIT

Awesome tool! When can we expect to see this as an IntelliJ IDEA plugin?

There are few products that come across PH that I ever use past the first day. This is great. When I can't stop thinking about an idea, I open this up, write for five minutes, download the file and save it for later. Such a great way to clear up your brain and get the idea out.

I just lost a day's work after non stop typing for 8 hours because I needed a wee. 1/5

I love this, and what would make it even better is if there were difficulty settings. Right now, it's just too fast! I wish there were easy, medium, or hard settings.

Love it! I see all kinds of spin offs, like a _more_ dangerous app that in which you must keep writing while maintaining a minimum speed of 50mph in your car. Strong work Manuel.

I could see using this when I want to dig in and bang out words and force myself to care about quality later.

Pros:

It was fun! I also lost on purpose to see what it would do.

Cons:

Should maybe have a small sound cue as well.

Sucks to loose the work , but it was a stream of conciousness and nothing vitally important. good tool for writers block but not for actually creating work.

Pros:

good excercise

Cons:

losing the stream of conscious work, spell check/autocorrect doesnt work in it

Pissed. I started brain dumping and got a good way then I lost everything. Everything isn't meant to be lost when dumping content from the brain no matter how nonsensical. Though I see the value of such a tool. I probably wouldn't use it often because its going to force me to write write write with no forethought or afterthought and god forbid I decide to research something. Stopping would be the death of what I wrote.

I f*cking love it. Thanks.

This is actually REALLY cool. Let me be honest with you, as a writer with 6 years of experience behind my back I still find it hard to motivate myself sometimes. I have to write best quality paper but I'm kinda lazy :D This Dangerous Writing App has changed everything. I'm so scared to lose my progress that i just don't stop it! Ofc, it's getting a bit bad in some parts but i can always rewrite it in a good way. It's a perfect app to build a cascade for your writing, i think.
