I'm a big fan of Miro and I'm impressed with how much it's already evolved. I tested this new feature more thoroughly today by digitizing a "story wall" of 60+ stickies laid out across 4 columns and 4 rows. I'm really impressed with the accuracy of the OCR. Some minor glitches that could be improved: * differences between colors of stickies not captured accurately (Canary Yellow and Rio De Janeiro Green Post-it® notes both recognized as the (same) green color. * size of the digitized post-its is dependent on the current zoom of the board, so if you change zoom level between capturing multiple images, you end up with dramatically different sizes * There is CR/LF character between every new line on the post-it, so if your one sentence spans multiple lines on the source, you end up with multiple lines in the digital version * Would be great to be able to adjust case for the recognized text. Hand-written stickies are often written in ALL CAPS to improve legibility with poor handwriting. On a digital format, however, ALL CAPS reduce legibility.
