I can't figure out why all these "smart" wearable manufacturers are going after the left (watch) wrist. I cannot imagine myself ever abandoning Movado, Citizen, Rolex, etc. with classic style, etc.
Instead, "wearables" should be going after the right wrist, positioning the products as fashion accessories with utility...not trying to replace the most iconic accessory a man (or woman) can wear.
That's my $0.02. I think all (these) "smartwatches" are ridiculous.
I'd love to rescind this statement next Tuesday...but if I had to bet on it, Apple's going after the right wrist, not trying to place my automatic chrono.
@pomajp Sometimes you have to guide consumers to the right. You don't represent any useful majority unfortunately. But in general I like your line of thinking -- glad we didn't start with the head like some others at Google ;)

@niket ok. T'was weird. Your whole response didn't initially come thru and I thought it was weirdly demeaning and condescending for this community. However, I owe an apology. Too much gets lost in text posted online. Initially bothered by what the email showed me as your response. It wasn't nearly what I thought it was when I came here and read your entire response.
Bottom line: my feeling is that i know a lot of guys that spend $300-$3000 on a watch. Guys spending $300 on a watch feels like the right audience for a "smart watch," but I feel like those guys appreciate and desire hand-made craftsmanship over digital + hardware.
Sorry for the terse response here and on twitter.
Looks good. I haven't worn a watch in quite a while, and been waiting for a good looking smart watch to start using again.
Being pretty locked into the iOS system, I'm waiting on the apple watch before buying something else. That said, the moto 360 looks good.

Way too large for my small wrist - would be like wearing a dinner plate - the watch face is nice but I think is end up turning off all the notifications because it would feel very uncool. I'm more into discrete wear like the misfit shine, MEMI bracelet etc. I kind if hope the entire human race writes these off as novelty items but who knows what will happen. Going more and more analogue in my old age but still very interested in seeing one if these :-)

The watch is gorgeous on your wrist. I love the look of the watch so much that I'd be happy to wear it even without the phone integration. If only the battery lasted longer and it supported iOS - I'd love it. I guess I'll have to wait for the Apple watch.
