I can’t wait to try the 2nd gen version of Muse S. I want to track my sleep using EEG monitoring as other non EEG sleep trackers seem to be pretty inaccurate to me. I was a little off by reviews of the 1st gen as people said the connection to the Muse S often got disrupted during the night leading to missing sleep data. Has this been fixed? @chris_aimone

@alierrett thank you for your comment! Short answer: yes it's been fixed! The new Muse S (Gen 2) comes with improved signal quality among other hardware upgrades including faster battery charging time, & more accurate battery indication to reduce overnight drop. Our new headband provides an even more comfortable fit for our users––we have updated the band to fit a larger range of head sizes. We have also modified the band's fabric to include more spandex which allows for more stretch and less wear and tear. We have also ensured that the ear electrodes cover a wider surface area to maintain stronger signal quality while you meditate or sleep with Muse! The Muse S (Gen 2) pod will be equipped with small hooks that connect to latches within the wings of the band, ensuring the pod stays connected throughout the night with minimal chance of disconnecting. I love the idea of Muse, the problem is I own one. Have 6 times emailed/called for tech support to solve a data problem, Muse has not made any effort outside of 2 emails asking for more info to solve it. So it sits in a pile of junked tech.
