People love you when you remember their name. Nametag AI is a simple app that helps you remember names of people you meet. By using location, Nametag remembers where you met a person so that the next time you visit you can review your flashcard cram deck before walking in. To save someone, simply tap and speak. "Jake, tall, mustache glasses, loves cooking, knows Jane." Nametag AI takes the voice capture and categorizes the information automatically into descriptors, mutuals, & fun facts.

right now it just has a field for Instagram but others can be easily added!

Tap and speak is the right call. Most apps in this space die because logging a person takes longer than just forgetting them. I work on voice AI that pulls structured fields out of unscripted speech, and the part that always bites us is the second pass: someone says "Jake, tall, glasses" today, then three months later says "Jake moved to Denver." Does Nametag merge that into the existing card or spin up a new one, and can you correct a wrong descriptor by voice? Also curious how aggressive the location trigger is on battery.

it doesn't merge but you can edit existing captures as well as log if you saw them again somewhere else. Location only runs when the app is open

The location trigger is what sold me on this over a plain notes app. I've tried just jotting down names in Apple Notes before and the problem was never capturing the info, it was remembering to look at it again before I needed it. Tying the reminder to place solves that. Congrats on the launch.
