Notion for Android - The all-in-one workspace - notes, tasks, wikis, & databases

by

Notion for Android is finally here!

It's your all-in-one workspace for notes, tasks, wikis, and databases. It also works offline and syncs great with the browser/iOS/Mac/Windows app!

Lord have I been waiting for this day! Notion team, you've been doing an amazing job, thanks for bringing that to all my devices, I am forever grateful 🙏

Two things stand out. First, Notion is incredibly complete and capable. Second, it's fast - markdown and keyboard menus are simple and straightforward, and make a lot of sense.

Notion is the first application I've used for personal organization. I don't take advantage of its team collaboration features, but it's a fantastic tool for personal use.

Pros:

Fast, simple, clean. Super easy to get started with, and although it's incredibly flexible it isn't overwhelming.

Cons:

Nothing I'd consider a con, per se. They addressed two nice to haves in this release.

I have been using notion.so for almost one month. I like things getting organized. It is helping me too much. Thinking seriously in paying just to help them.

Pros:

Easy, beautiful, MD support...

Cons:

None

I've been using the Android beta for about two months, and the entire app for a year. I love dumping data in it. Performance is pretty solid even when there are hundreds of blocks in a page. The mobile web page was a little buggy, but now that the android app is out, I'm loving it.

I use the app mainly as a personal wiki for notes, daily journaling, and keeping track of progress on side projects. Switched to Notion from Todoist and couldn't be happier.

Pros:

Easy to use, organization tools great for restructuring data, works on all platforms with seamless sync

Cons:

Offline is great, but not perfect yet

I'm in love ❤️ Seriously, this is an amazing product. I've been an Evernote premium user for years, and this is the product that I think will finally pull me away (please make the Evernote import feature easier 🙏).

Keep up the great work! 💪

Pros:

Versatility, robust tables, emoji integration, headers, task reminders, kanban boards, great note-linking system for data hierarchies

Cons:

Needs: better way to view and filter tasks across notes, rich-text tables, note outlines, note histories, better Evernote import, note tags

Switched to Notion from EN and trello and use the spreadsheet and tables features a lot to organise my entire writing, podcasting, tutorials - basically everything is in there now.

Now the android app makes it quicker and easier to access than the mobile web version. Brilliant product and rapid improvements and new features

Pros:

Quick and easy access to all of Notion

Cons:

none so far

Hi Ivan, I’m a Workflowy user. Love their lists in lists notetaking to add more and more detail a being able to zoom in and out. Wished I had exactly that in a more integrated product as yours! It can be done a little bit with your toggled items. But it’s not the same experience and in Notion when a toggle is closed I can’t even see if something is in there. Empty and filled toggles look all the same. And I agree with James Welch, for video call feature would be nice.

@otto_offringa Yes! I'd love that feature! It's the one thing I am missing since I moved over from Airtable and Workflowy.
