Thank you@jonurbonas ! Digest is very common when unpredictable volume of triggers can happen and result in an email or another notification, for example:
Social interactions (comments, likes, etc..)
Status updates for things like watched projects, cards, issues
System based alerts (Elevated error rate, rate limiting)
etc...
