Are we talking Friend 2?
@kodjima33 Huge congrats on your launch! Wishing you a journey filled with success and growth. What are your next steps post-launch?

@kodjima33 Fascinating idea. I was an excited fan of wearables potential, but frankly most of what we’ve seen has just felt like an extension of the iPhone; but attached to my wrist…? Oura ring was a product I really appreciated, and this seems like another step towards adding utility to our accessories. I’ll follow this closely, throw my hat in the Product Hunt raffle and if need be, scoop the final release candidate when it’s ready from wherever you sell it. Your drive, ambition and innovation is really unmatched. Thanks for taking risks like this.

@kodjima33 Nik I'm excited to see this come to market. We have several ideas on where to leverage beyond notetaking.

@kodjima33 This is such a game-changer! The Friend Necklace combining open-source AI with wearable tech is exactly the kind of innovation that excites me. As someone fascinated by the potential of large language models, I can see this device revolutionizing how we interact with AI daily. Can't wait to see how it can help keep me organized and connected. Upvoted and fingers crossed for a win! #FutureOfTech #AIInnovation

🤩 Oh! Love the openource aspect here! Way to go 🚀 Especially when privacy is so crucial to get right with tech like this.

It would be cool to have color options/ necklace variants, at least 3-4 variations for the beginning so it fits everyone's style. Nonetheless, great stuff guys! Congrats! 👏

@vlad_mihalache I'm sure this will just be the beginning, we've already got people in the Friend community asking about specs so they can maybe 3d print accessories to wear their Friend 2 differently -- i.e. watch bands, magnetic pin, etc. We've got a small gallery growing with the current Friend Dev Kit where community members have already been creating mods too!

The future of hardware is open source - especially when it comes to something as sensitive as a device meant to record daily conversations. Really exciting to see the progress this team has made, congrats on the launch!!

Huge congratulations 🎉 on the launch! Would you mind sharing how it actually works from the technical side?

The design of this necklace is absolutely exquisite, and I love it. Plus, it's an AI-powered necklace! Even more impressive, it's open-source!

Literally the first time I'm tempted to get a necklace. I've never had one. But after functionality, what I find most important is aesthetics. Your website and social media don't show any realistic/clear real life pictures of the device, so it's hard for me to commit. If I saw good pictures and could confirm it's my taste of "attractive" I'd preorder. TLDR; you're selling hardware, consider having enough product images

Certainly looks like an interesting concept for AI hardware. Big fan of the idea of offering different designs!
