I am truly impressed by the concept behind Otto. The idea of preserving personal stories and histories in such a simple and accessible way is both heartwarming and practical. I can only imagine the impact this tool will have on preserving memories and creating legacies. Thank you for sharing this innovative creation with the world. I look forward to seeing how Otto helps individuals capture and share their stories. Best wishes for the success of Otto.

congratulations on launching otto, ashita. it's fascinating how otto transforms spoken memories into written narratives. i'm curious about how otto ensures the emotional essence of stories is captured effectively in the text. could you share more about the technology behind this feature?
ashita achuthan
@mashy Hey Albert - thanks for your kind words. When you talk about the 'emotional essence' of stories, are you asking how Otto keeps the feelings and moods from your memories when it writes them down? I’d love to clarify that a bit more. for tech, we're using LLMs for transcription + writing the narrative. Right now, I'm focused on making sure everything you say is captured clearly and turned into text that feels true to your voice.

In a world of AI wrappers doing all the obvious things, Otto is such an interesting fun deviation. Have you thought about having it interview other people (grandparents, etc). I also think the name is so perfect (although maybe not for interviewing other people). Good luck with the launch!
ashita achuthan
@carterparks Hey Carter - that's a great idea. I'm assuming you mean an actual back and forth interview. Have you been thinking about interviewing your grandparents? What have you used or tried?

It sounds good, but the difficult part is how to persist.@ashitaa
ashita achuthan
@heard do you mean persisting in doing something long term?
Zenda
@ashitaa Yes, it is quite challenging to maintain a consistent journaling habit.
