This is mind-blowing.
I hardly imagined replacing myself with an AI that reflects my memories, my personality, my style.
With Personal.AI, it looks like it's not a wild dream anymore
@cullinmcgrath Thanks Cullin! We too are a big fan of you and ODS! Thanks for the note and the continued support in our launch and of our founders. 🚀

We've long been talking about Intelligent virtual assistants becoming virtual advisors and, eventually, virtual agents (capable of carrying out tasks on the user's behalf). This seems like a good start. Also harkens back to early efforts at "reminder bots" (Remember the Milk). There are lots of gaps to fill in terms of understanding agency, but they've paid a lot of attention to protecting privacy and being responsive. Good Luck.
@zheniart Great question - yes English to start - and to learn and launch - additional languages are for sure on the roadmap. Stay tuned! 🚀

Love what Personal.ai is setting out to do. Helping me accumulate and access all my memories and to share those with others as I wish. I am excited about how this will help drive my productivity by assisting me with the creation of content, responding to common questions, and the ability to quickly recall important facts exactly when I need them. I also love the idea of being able to selectively share access to my memories and that this will last beyond my physical time here - with my grandkids and their kids potentially being able to interact with my memory stack. And I am excited about all the ways this can be used as I grow my personal ai stack. Truly groundbreaking and revolutionary technology that will have a meaningful impact on the lives of those who utilize it.
Great potential. But, after reading the terms and conditions and privacy statement, I would not use this product. A lot of talk about the blockchain tech you are using, all sounds good.
But in the T&C's you say:
Personal.ai cares about the integrity and security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
In the Privacy section this is concerning:
Aggregated/ Anonymized Data
We may aggregate and/or anonymize information collected through the Personal.ai Service so that such information can no longer be linked to you or your device (“Aggregated/Anonymized Information”). We may use Aggregated/Anonymized Information for any purpose, including without limitation for research and analytics, and may also share such data with any third parties, including partners, affiliates, services providers, and others.
@charles_gerth Thanks for your comments, Charles. We need to get more specific on that and your specific conerns are very valuable in helping us refine how we communicate.
We might use 3rd party dashboard tools to track total signups, for example, which is something falls under anonymized data aggregation. That's different, from my perspective, than aggregating and sharing your memory data (which we don't do -- we train on your own container, for example). We need to circle back with legal on how to articulate that difference.
@marc_ettlingery Thanks, my biggest concern was regarding memory data. The product looks so compelling, I think I will give it a shot and keep my eyes open as you refine the terms.
@tylerw Honestly, we don't think they'd be inclined to given their revenue model, nor be able to given the direction they're going in in terms of technological approach, nor do we think people would trust them.
@tylerw I hear you, but it's definitely a question we seriously get asked.
And what I mean by, 'be able to', is that doubling down on a dystopian metaverse and on current approaches to deep learning could not yield a product like we're building. It's sort of like asking if Exxon can become a solar company. They certainly had huge advantages going in to the 200s, but it's not gonna happen.
@marc_ettlinger Got it. I wish you all great success. This sure is an interesting project!

The Future is now. Create a digital AI version of yourself - Personal.AI is a game-changer!
I have been running the beta version of the app and my mind is blown, it’s literally a dream come true.
For years I’ve had a vision of the future, where I can interact and share my life with my descendants.
For example, I would love my great-great-grandson to have the ability to come and 'talk' to me whenever he likes, possibly via a holographic representation of myself.
For him to be able to have full conversations with me, and ask anything about my life.
A private place where he could see any photos, videos, blogs or anything related to me. To experience everything I have created, or curated contents from my ancestors that came before me. Personal.AI is enabling me to begin creating that digital AI of me ;-) The team at Personal.AI are super-talented, real, down to earth humans - I've had the pleasure of talking with the brilliant Suman and Atima. They have an awesome community too !
Check it out now!
@rus_sellers What am amazing review. We can't tell you how much we appreciate your support during our early stages of development.
I know I wish I had the ability to recall vivid memories with my loved ones and I get so excited for the future and the potential that Personal.ai brings. Thanks for being here and helping us grow!
