This looks very intriguing, but I am curious as to how it actually works. Is this a Dropbox-ish service where folders locally and in the cloud sync with each other? Can you selectively choose what to sync? Is everything uploaded to Playbook synced on a local drive (My laptop drive is MUCH smaller than 4TB) or does this function more like a remotely accessed hard drive where I can download files as needed? Are the accounts, files, and playbooks available to be viewed publicly once uploaded, or can everything be kept private (I am thinking about projects that might have some industry or personnel info used that should not be publicly available. I tried searching the website but I was unable to find any kind of information that explains how the service works with the data and files I would be using. ?makers

@antisyphus all good questions! Playbook isn't a generic syncing file storage like Dropbox — if you want to put something in Playbook, you can either upload it or link an existing Dropbox/Google Drive and import from there. Then everything stays stored in the cloud. (We'll be adding a local machine -> Playbook sync in the future, but even then it's not likely to be a two way sync). Dropbox is the best comparison for how the service works, but it's also different. Playbook is a place to manage your creative work. It's a personal space, so anything you add is private to you (and any teammates you invite to your workspace). From there, you can choose to share files publicly, invite people as guests to your workspace, or just use it yourself for searching and browsing your work.

The GDrive integration is my favourite part! Along with the great UI. Project collaboration looks so time efficient. Zoom presentations have never been this visually pleasing! Are there more sharing options available?
