@bolingj you did

Just signed up myself. I think this really has the potential to be disruptive in terms of privacy. I'd think that banks aren't far from offering this as a service here in the US as well.

This looks pretty great! It can help reduce anxiety around sharing your CC info on "any" website. That's why some people actually prefer using PayPal, however with this it seems you can allocate specific funds for purchases. So I am wondering from a merchant perspective, is there any way to educate users about this?

You mention on your site that you have an iOS app available, but don't provide a link to it. I also can't find it via AppStore search since "privacy" is quite generic. Any chance you can link us to it?

@aaroncrocco We mis-timed the App Store approval process 😳, so it's still pending approval by Apple. Hopefully we'll have it live in the app store soon.

Pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of it all. Going to use this for sure.

Love the design and simplicity; specifically how your tabs/logo quick-loads. Onboarding process is also dope. Great job all around, I'm stoked to try this out.

First: Both Bank of America & Citi Bank have been offering the Virtual Credit Cards service for FREE with no additional cost for their customers. This is nothing new and it's been around for a while (Paypal also had such a service which they discontinued it) — So I don't really get the excitement over this service? — Am I missing Something here?! Also, Wondering How different is this services Vs. BofA & Citis? — Any benefit to use this site over BofA & Citis which are 2 well-known -trusted & major financial institutes/Bank in the U.S.? I assume that people who attempt to use such a service, want to make sure they are safe when they shop online or dealing with services that they don't trust. So it's safe to say that the goal of using this kind of services is to protect personal information (card number/ identity /contact info) from third-parties to avoid possible data breaches, frauds, stolen credit card numbers, unwanted charges and scam.z Now, the question is: aren't these people are one of those third-parties? Who are these people? (with all do respect) and Why should I trust them with my Bank Account Info which is WAY more sensitive info? (are the required the s.s.n to use the service as well?) — Worry about stolen credit card number and give up on Bank Account number? :) Doesn't make much sense to me! I'm not saying this is a fraud or people shouldn't trust them, nor having anything against this company. All I'm saying is: be Smart, suspicious and doubter when someone asking for this kind of info. Do your homework & think twice before give up on your personal info. My grandma used to tell us: "It's always better to stay on the safe side rather than regret in the feature." - not sure she was quoting from someone or it was her own words! - Anyways! I don't know these people, and I don't trust what I don't know. Once again, not trying to be the smart-ass and tell others what they should or shouldn't do. I believe all individual should do their homework by listening, reading and collecting all the info they need. However, at the end, every person should make the decision himself/herself and do whatever is best for him/her. Adios Everyone.

@shahinix Just a note on the Citi Virtual Cards - I've used them off and on for years, and it's a really cumbersome process. Glad to see companies working on better implementations.

@shahinix I know this is an old post but I figured I could answer a few of these questions as I have been using this service for a while now and have had nothing but good experiences. I can't say much about the difference from BofA or Citi since I haven't used them but this has got to be the easiest way to pay online. Not only do you not have to take out your credit card to type in the information. You don't have to type any numbers, the browser extension takes care of creating the card and entering everything for you. You can easily set it to burn the card after that transaction so you don't have to worry about someone getting ahold of that credit card number because it will just be declined if someone else tries to use it. Or if you do want to use that card for a recurring transaction you can easily lock it to one merchant. The emphasis should be on easily. I can't imagine the amount of work that has gone into a project like this to make things as easy as possible. As for trusting them with a bank account number. You are right that would be information that you want to keep in trusted hands. I guess the trade off would be, do you want to trust one company with your bank account or every company you shop at with your credit card number.
