I'm a Product Support Manager and QA lead, and X-ray has completely transformed how I stay on top of our development workflow.

Yes, there was a time before X-ray when I was constantly context-switching between Slack channels, jumping into team calls, and manually checking Linear to figure out where issues stood. Questions like "Is this ready for testing?" or "Did that bug fix make it to prod?" meant digging through message threads and meeting notes.

Every single day I'm grateful that I now have X-ray. It monitors everything automatically. It watches Slack channels, scans team meetings, and tracks our Linear tickets in real-time. I get instant visibility into issue status changes, testing readiness, production deployments and cross-platform context.

The Monitor X-Ray is a game-changer for QA - it creates an append-only log with alerts, so nothing slips through the cracks. And the integrations mean I'm not just seeing meeting notes; I'm genuinely seeing the full picture across all our tools.

Best part - I set it to send me a digest in an email each morning at the time I get to my desk. Automation FTW.

Hey @sean37 Thanks for sharing your workflow and which sources you're integrating, and for being such a thoughtful champion for Rumi, and for QA and support! 🚀

As a big contributor to X-ray I'm so happy it's now out for everyone to try and experience it. After months of iteration we made it quite simple to build complex data pipelines that you can control with just one prompt. If you're interested on how X-ray works behind the scenes feel free to reach out!

@radko93. Congrats and thank you Radek! I can't wait to see how the Product Hunt community uses X-Ray.

Whoa, this is 🔥
Loving the idea of X-Ray keeping the team in the loop without drowning in threads and recaps.

Can’t wait to see how it actually surfaces the useful stuff. Definitely bookmarking this!

Q: Does it highlight the most important insights automatically, or do you get to customize what matters most?

Michael Gaylord

Hey@anna_york. You specify what you care about or need and it will recommend a set of instructions and settings. You can then modify these if they are working out for you. Kind of like a long running LLM prompt but it sends the data to you over time as it learns more.

Tom Fuller

@anna_york Thank you for your support!

Wow. What an amazing news. A true app to catch all the things. Just I have one question. How about the Data Security?? Is it secure??

Michael Gaylord

@brajeshofficial Yes it is. We are fully SOC2 Type 2 compliant and audited on a regular basis. Data is encrypted at rest. You can read more here: https://rumi.ai/resources/compliance

X-Ray has been an amazing product to help build here at Rumi. We use our own products heavily and X-Ray is something I lean on every day to synthesise the most important information across the company. It really helps break down information silos and barriers and makes staying on top of things seamless and efficient.

Happy to have you all try it out!

Margaret Grobler

🚀 I'm so proud of our team for launching X-Ray by Rumi.ai on Product Hunt today!

Why does X-Ray matter?
X-Ray saves you from information overload by automatically finding what’s most important across your meetings and connected work tools, so you never miss a key update, decision, big bug, or blocker.

🔍 Imagine getting instant alerts when deals shift, bugs pop up, or a customer is at risk.
📄 Or having living documents, like project briefs or onboarding guides, that update themselves as your team works.
📰 Or just getting a daily or weekly digest so you can catch up fast, instead of reading endless notes.

The result:

  • You spend less time digging for info

  • You spot problems and opportunities right away

  • You always have a clear, up-to-date summary of your work

Bottom line:
X-Ray helps you spend less time searching for info and more time moving work forward, whether you’re in sales, product, CS, or leading a team.

Would love your feedback, questions, or ideas!
💬 Drop a comment, and the Rumi team will be here all day. Thanks for checking out X-Ray!

Hi folks, this is a really exciting day for us - thanks for voting and taking a look!

For most of us, especially on distributed teams, discussions happen 24/7 and in 4 or 5 different tools, and it felt like we were all spending the first hour or two of each day just trying to figure out what happened while we were sleeping, and playing whack-a-mole with notification badges all day long.

Over a year ago, we started whiteboarding a tool that would act like a pivot table with conversational data, where you could take a set of instructions like “What are my customers asking for this month?”, and toggle different sources of data in and out of the analysis to get the information you need.

That was the genesis of X-ray, and a year later, it’s finally live. We think it takes notetaking and cross-tool awareness to a new level. We hope you agree, please let us know what you think, and what would make this even better! 🙏 🙏 🙏

Nico Lumma

wow, this is really cool. Finally a meeting notes app that really helps me organize my tasks!

congrats on the launch! 🚀

I’ve been beta testing X-Ray for a few weeks now and I am hooked!

The longer I use it, the more use cases I find for it. Yesterday I created one that automatically updates a product roadmap input doc based on features, needs, requests, bugs, etc being discussed.

Tom Fuller

@husseinyahfoufi Thank you so much for your ongoing support!

Congrats on the launch @margaretgrobler @mjgaylord ! As a relevant prospect, I’m curious how X-Ray decides what’s actually “important” across meetings, Slack, and CRMs? Wondering how it avoids noise and surfaces only the real signals.

Tom Fuller

Thank you @harkirat_singh3777 and great question! This is actually one of X-ray's key strengths. X-ray doesn't try to guess what's important, you tell it exactly what matters to your team. It's instruction-driven, not a black box. When you set up an X-ray, you write custom instructions that define your signal vs. noise criteria.

Ramsey Pryor

@margaretgrobler  @mjgaylord  @harkirat_singh3777 Hi Harkirat, thanks for the kind words and for your question. As many of us have experienced, prompting AI can be finicky, and the more context you provide the model, the better the results will be. So with X-ray, we effectively have 2 prompting cycles. In the first step, we give people the ability to describe in plain english what they want to stay on top of, and in the second step (behind the scenes), we translate that request into a highly detailed set of prompts to refine the request and filter out noise. This step filters out the "chit chat" and irrelevant info that's a natural part of most meetings, slack convos, etc. We use the same approach with our meeting summaries, so this "filtering" step is something we've invested a lot of thought and engineering time into over the years. Thanks for noticing!! :)
