GoGoGrandparent helps older adults use on demand transportation services. We primarily handle two challenges:
1) Technological accessibility - they call to order a ride, no smartphone required.
2) Ride management - we screen drivers to make sure they're comfortable with seniors, monitor rides and communicate on behalf of the registered callers

very cool idea. on first glance, seems a bit irrelevant just b/c most in US have a smartphone but could definitely see this spurring Uber growth in places like Southeast Asia and Africa, where smartphone use isn't quite so ubiquitous. good luck!!
@mahdi_ali Thanks for the feedback Mahdi! 88% of adults over the age of 75 don't have a smartphone. that number only drops to 56% of adults over the age of 65
This is going to be so amazing! A few weeks ago, my grandma totaled her car. She's always felt like her car and the ability to go where she wants was the one part of freedom that she still had in her older age.
For days after, she would tell me she felt trapped in her apartment and my heart broke for her. I actually did spend awhile googling "Uber for the elderly" and similar queries so that she could get out and actually *do* something.
She thankfully picked out her new car last weekend, so I don't think she'll personally need GoGoGrandparent, but the experience showed me how much our grandparents need an easy way to get around when they can't drive themselves.
Smart product, think it could be very useful In France!

This is a good idea for everyone, my phone has died a couple of times and i was so desperate for a charger so i could call an uber. Having a back up plan is worth it!
