If this worked with CloudUp then it'd be perfect for me. Like @rrhoover I take a lot of screenshots. They used to be handled by Dropbox, but I've since moved to CloudUp and need a better way of organising them.

I use CloudApp at the moment to automatically upload my screenshots and put a URL in my clipboard, but this is exactly what I needed for times when attaching an actual image is better than sending a URL to an image and I don't want to go digging in my screenshots folder

Are the Screenshots still saved in their previous folder (e.g. Dropbox)?

@maxlabsde QuickShot will keep all your screenshots in the same place as before, it just organizes them for easy access from the menu bar

@maxlabsde @sond813 Do you think this is easier than a screenshots folder in your Dock? Interested to hear your thoughts on that (that's how I currently have it set up).

@maxlabsde @sond813 @danjfein The biggest feature that makes QuickShot so useful to me personally, is the ability to drag a screenshot straight from the menubar immediately after you've taken one. To see a video of exactly what I mean just check out our site: http://thnkdev.com/QuickShot If you've got any questions or suggestions though we'd love to hear them. We're always looking for ways to improve our apps.

I love the way Dropbox handles my screenshots, and also camera uploads. I set the Screenshots and Camera Uploads folders to my Dock and whenever I take a new one of either it's easily accessible. Clean it out every couple of months but pretty reliable, especially with the share link immediately generated. Makes for less load on Messages and Email.

i wish Apple had addressed that issue since. Every screenshot both on iOS and OSX should be automatically indexed in a screenshot folder instead of creating such a mess in our photo files....will get a shot at this one...i am personally using skitch and hope it will work with it too

You can also accomplish some easy screenshot managing using folder actions in automator. I have an action that automatically moves screenshots to a screenshot folder that I keep in my dock, pretty useful.
