Meet NovaVoice β a voice OS for your desktop (Part3)
Hey Product Hunt π
We turn your voice into a first-class interface for your computer: intelligent dictation, cross-app voice commands, AI assistant always one hotkey away. If you haven't seen the product yet, check it out here: https://www.producthunt.com/products/novavoice?launch=novavoice (We're still working on our Product Hunt launch page (and would love to hear your suggestions and feedback))

What we got right
The competitors on desktop were all doing dictation. Just transcription β some with basic formatting presets, some with the ability to save styles. That was the category.
We kept cross-app voice control in the product when we moved to desktop. You can be in your IDE and say "ask Maria on WhatsApp if the header is final" β NovaVoice opens WhatsApp, finds Maria, drafts the message. You press Enter.
That's not a dictation feature. That's a different category of tool.
The other thing we got right: treating the AI layer as core, not a feature. The formatting popover β where you hit a hotkey after dictating and instantly reformat, translate, expand, or apply a custom style β isn't a nice-to-have. It's what makes the dictation actually usable for real work. Without it, you're still doing cleanup manually.
Early users use NovaVoice to dictate prompts into Cursor and Claude Code. Raw thoughts in, structured prompts out, without switching windows. That use case alone β developers prompting AI tools by voice β is a game changer.Β
Where we are
NovaVoice is live on Mac & Windows. Mac is the most polished. We're working on transcription speed, more apps integrations, and making the first-time experience simpler.
We're early. But the core idea β that voice should be a first-class interface for your computer.
