building: @Olivka an AI calorie tracker that lives in WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram. Snap a photo, send a voice note, or just type your meal. Calories and macros calculated in ~20 seconds. No app to download, no login, no diet guilt.
for: everyone who quit MyFitnessPal, Lose It!, MacroFactor, etc. because manual logging is exhausting, not because they stopped caring.
hardest part: distribution. We're chat-native with nothing to install, but that also means no App Store to be discovered in. How are other no-app products getting found? Genuinely curious.
@gabriel_kurowski Thanks for sharing, calorie tracking living inside WhatsApp/Messenger/Telegram instead of another app to download is such a smart distribution insight, most people quit MyFitnessPal from logging fatigue, not lack of motivation.
Your distribution question is a genuinely hard one. My take: lean into shareability inside group chats (friends tracking together) since that's the one growth loop that doesn't need an app store at all.

i built a free online party game (salad bowl game / fishbowl) — it's the classic party game but digital so you don't need paper or pens. the whole idea came from being annoyed at how much setup the traditional version needs. launched on ph today actually, still figuring out what i'm doing lol
the hardest part right now is just getting people to try it. building was the easy part apparently
just launched my first product today too — it's a party game not an ai tool but still feels wild to have something out there that people can actually use. congrats on the mrr btw that's no small feat for a non-technical founder
the ai word generator thing is actually pretty cool for party games lol. like you type "harry potter" or "startup jargon" and it just fills the whole bowl for you. saved me so much time when i was testing with friends
honestly curious what everyone's retention looks like for ai products? i feel like there's so much launch hype but then people forget about it after a week
the devdrafts concept is actually smart — one quality pick daily instead of drowning in 10k tools. the directory fatigue is real
publishai looks solid honestly. book descriptions are such a pain point for indie authors, most of them hate writing marketing copy even more than they hate editing their actual book lol

@joiynai The "eliminating manual follow-ups and scattered information" problem is one I've seen kill client relationships way more than the actual work quality. Onboarding is where trust gets built or lost and most teams treat it like an afterthought. Makes sense to automate it.
