This is one of those products that I wish existed when I was a freelance developer, it would have made my life so much easier. Now, as a Developer of a much more advanced platform, Serverless Cloud has been a dream to work with. I cannot recommend Serverless Cloud enough.

I've been using Serverless Cloud for a few months now, and it's been a fantastic experience! As someone who's built and managed a bunch of Serverless applications at work, the speed (!!) of deploying changes was a massive improvement (seconds instead of minutes). Being able to deploy a new environment or even a dedicated preview environment for a branch is a game-changer (I'm hoping to see automatic per-PR environments soon!). The lack of YAML is a breath of fresh air - it really reminds me of how it felt pushing an app to Heroku for the first time a decade ago.. the infrastructure just gets out of your way - just write your code and go. I was able to build https://whoami.tobalabs.com in about 15 lines of code (and 2 node packages). As it's built on top of ExpressJS, there's also a large ecosystem of tools that are available to be plugged in. I was surprised at how easy it was to be able to integrate Sentry error reporting and performance monitoring into my apps. They've been adding new features and abstractions like object storage and event driven functions quite quickly. If they could add some functionality like easy SSO authentication and improved integration with the larger cloud ecosystem so that apps can be integrated with the rest of your services, that'd take things to the next level. Overall, I have a tough time seeing why I'd ever start another personal project using anything else right now (I'm hoping it'll also be similar to Heroku when it hits GA from a side-project cost friendliness point of view).

@michael_warkentin1 Hi Michael, Thanks a lot for your kind words and great support since the beginning! It's dope that Sentry can just integrate with Serverless Cloud effortlessly and provide great insights at the very same moment. Looking forward to document this when I have some time next week! Authentication is on top of our list for a very long time and I think its time has come now. So expect to hear more about it! About integrating with larger ecosystems, there's actually nothing that prevents our users to integrate with any system using our secrets. (As you did with Sentry) However, we would like to bring some more native support for such integrations with partners like AWS, FaunaDB, Planetscale, Upstash and more. In terms of pricing, it'll be way friendlier than Heroku for sure. Our free tier will host at least a side project or maybe two or maybe ten :) I need to say that it's completely free for now as we are still in preview.

@maria_brm There is a free tier data limit of 1GB, but you can store as much as you want on our paid plans.

@maria_brm Hi Maria, For now it's all free as we are in the last months of our preview. We have released our tentative pricing here: https://www.serverless.com/cloud.... After going into GA, there will be 5 GB of data available monthly.

Great product, I always love your releases. Even though I have enough experience in Lambda, Dynamo etc., my next project would definitely be with Serverless Cloud. Dev loop is fast. Also I love how you abstract away the storage, events, crons with just code compared to maintaining Cloudformation/Terraform with lots of verbosity.
