Slite's new AI assistant – Ask – answers questions based on your team's documentation. Take the pain out of finding info, learning from the past, and getting new team mates up to speed. Have a question? Just ask.
@svv It's in private beta for now but once open you wont have to sign any NDA, you'll just have to accept Slite usage terms and that's it.
It's very close to what you accept when using a service relying on 3rd party search based on your data.
Great idea! Having Ask available to answer questions about team documentation quickly and conversationally has to be a lifesaver for companies. What types of questions does the AI understand?
@codecamcode 100%! It can answer many questions based on the documentation in your workspace. We see that it's especially valuable for basic company information, handbooks, policies, culture-related things, well-documented workflows, onboarding 🙌
@christophepas this is super slick! I've been looking for this exact kind of solution, but hooked into Notion (not needing to export/import into a separate service) and ideally delivered via asking questions to a Slackbot.
@paul_arterburn Give Slite a try and tell us what you think! (@christophepas on twitter)
We're definitely competing so won't build on top of it, and a big part of the accuracy comes from understanding the data and timeline, so couldn't work on 3rd party that well
@christophepas, unfortunately, using yet-another-service is a roadblock to our team's engagement (and we use Notion for way more than just our knowledge base). I'm stoked for y'all to push this forward in a big way as I know it'll force everyone else to catch up and unlock this kind of tech for a lot more applications.
