Just downloaded. Is there a way to save lessons I like? Heard something interesting and wanted to bookmark it but couldn't find the option.

@jennyxxie thanks for trying SUN, Jenny! 🙏 Right now, bookmarking/saving lessons isn’t fully built out yet (you’re not missing anything). We’ve heard this request a lot, and it’s high on our roadmap!

Downloaded this morning. The onboarding took me a second to understand. The AI integration step wasn't immediately obvious. Once I got it though, it clicked.

@mingjian_li Totally hear you on the onboarding. The AI integration step is a key part of the experience, so if it’s not immediately obvious, that’s on us to make it clearer and more intuitive.

I am currently trying it out right now! It is a really fun product concept. Something that I was reaching for almost immediately was a transcript or captions though. I am not sure if there is a setting available currently that I am missing.

I was planning to go through a few different 15 minute lessons to see what kind of different lesson structures it builds.

@prebuildlabs Thanks for trying it out! You’re right, captions or transcripts aren’t available just yet, but it’s something we’re planning to add soon. Appreciate the feedback!

Congratulations on launching! Can you add ability to listen a topic with a group of people? Chatting and discussing topic?

Artin Bogdanov

@den_go goes to the backlog.

Looks interesting! How does this compare to NotebookLM? The key difference I see is that NotebookLM needs your own documents as a source. Does SUN generate content entirely from scratch on any topic, with no input material needed?

Amy

@sophiafyi Exactly! NotebookLM works only with your own documents, while SUN generates structured audio on any topic from scratch, no uploads needed!

It would be nice to have a WebUI or Android app.
Also, this should integrate with Honcho, the memory plugin. Honcho knows what I'm working and what I'm struggling with. Sunapp could use that info to prepare content that will help get better. It could also analyse my prompt history to know what Im interested in right now.

@zook A WebUI and Android app are definitely on our roadmap.  Will look into Honcho!

Happy launch day! Used PHFRIENDS. First lesson was great. Already thinking about what to ask next.

@nate007 Glad to hear! Happy listening!

Seems an interesting idea.

As I went through comments I read SUN doesn't take any inputs like PDFs or any info, we just have to describe.

So I believe the text for the audio is LLM generated? So how the output looks like? Is it dictated as it is? Or is continuous back n forth regarding context is done so that the info for the actually relevant to what user wants? As the depth or specific context to any topic is imp.

Would love to understand!

@sujit_jaunjal You’re right, SUN doesn’t take PDFs or external files directly yet, so the audio content starts from what you describe. But the magic is in how it adapts as you interact. The audio is LLM-generated, yes, and it’s not static. You can pause, ask questions, or dive deeper on any point!

@amy_wenyan_hua got it👍🏻
