Hi Kevin, 👋
Congratulations on launching this product! 👏I'm glad I came across it on PH and Twitter. I carry a physical calendar around with me everywhere and add actual stickers on the days I complete the exercise, i.e. swim 🏊♀️, run 🏃♀️, meditate 🧘🏻♀️, etc. This app is definitely a *great* creation to add it to my phone instead. Will definitely download it and try it out.
I'm a new indie iOS developer myself, 👩🏻💻 and love building so coding is certainly one of the listed habits.
Update: It's my second day using and already loving the simplicity and ease of use. Going for the upgrade!
@yoowinks Nam-Anh, thank you so much! It's so amazing to see that what I built to replace my own paper calendar might help you replace or complement yours...
Thank you for upgrading and supporting my work, and please get in touch if you need any addition into the app. I am looking forward to your first PH launch!

Alright, so I installed your app and wanted to use to create an everyday habit. However, I was not asked for any permission to send push notifications (which I think are critical) + I want to accomplish my habit everyday in certain period of the day. This functionality is critical for me and missing as well.
@marekdlugos Marek! Thank you for your suggestions. I'll be adding notifications in the next few weeks, I'm sorry that it wasn't part of v1, I wanted to ship "early" (ok, 100+ hours of work is not early, but I needed that time to get the dates system right).
Regarding the time of the day, could you get in touch to let me know exactly how you'd like to see this implement? I'll then check what % of users is interested in such a feature and might build it too.
Thank you!

Have been looking for something like this, really like it so far. Do you have any plans to add reminders to help with habit forming? Would love to be able to schedule a reminder to do something and log it
@marksbertrand Mark, thank you, and absolutely! It's been the most requested feature so far, so it's high up on the roadmap. Would you like a reminder for each habit or just one a day?
@marksbertrand Brilliant. Might start with adding a global notification for the app, easy to code, and then add more options in future releases. Thanks again Mark.

@kevinquisquater Sounds good, let me know if I can help out with other feedback or help test

Very nice! Love the history view. Would really like reminders...nagging reminders until I log completion of task/goal. And also setting up mini goals/challenge. Like 8 week challenge. To motivate you to accomplish sprints.
@yadi Hi Yadi, Thanks a lot! Reminders will be coming in the next few weeks :-) Goals too, but only if I find a way to integrate them into the app without ruining the UI or complexifying the app too much (never easy)

Good job Kevin with the app! I currently have recurring to-do's in my G-Calendar but I find it hard to overview my calendar because of all the to-do's. :)
Two features maybe worth looking into:
- I need to do some habits a specific day, once a week. Would it be possible to set when you need to do the task/habit so it's counted in to your streak, even if it's only once a week.
- Push reminder. I would love to be able to set a push notification at a specific time for some habit trackers. Maybe included it to the above? For example: I need to do X thing 9AM every Wednesday. With it could be a question "Do you want push notification?"
@blkdnm Thank you Arslan! Great suggestions, reminders are on their way (give me a few weeks). Weekly/Monthly habits is a more difficult question, I might decide to focus solely on daily habits. I will take some time to really think this through. Thanks!

Love the idea, love the design! I'm gonna test it ASAP.
@srseven Thanks Shahzaib! I'm unfortunately not planning to learn Android development in the near future, it's a lot of work and I have to be careful when allocating my time. Hope you'll find a great alternative on Android! :)

The only thing I don't like about this app is when I forget to track my steak until the next morning 😥
@ryandimascio Hey Ryan! Didn't see your comment, sorry. I am not sure I understand your issue, is there something I can improve? Have you seen that you can set dates in the past by tapping "History" on each habit's detailed screen?

@kevinquisquater NO WAY! Dude... I had no idea that functionality existed. I've literally thrown my phone across the room because I was so upset that I forgot to log my streak two days in a row.
"Don't brain the chain"? typo perhaps? Although thinking about it more I think it makes sense either way! Nice app. Hopefully it finds its way to Android soon.
@hecelectronics Hey Hermann! Thanks for your enthusiasm and really sorry that it's not available on Android. As a solo developer with limited time, I unfortunately have to focus on one platform at the moment. Hope you'll find a great alternative on Android! :)
