Hey @ricardo_luz! It will analyze emails that you've recently sent and match the voice and tone of those. It will also take into account the context of the thread so far, and that can help tune the voice too! I've seen it write formally, informally, and in between :)

Congrats on the launch! I saw that Superhuman saves 3 hours every single week. How did you guys measure that? Don't get me wrong, I'm just interested from a marketing perspective - as time-saving is one of the biggest values AI could provide, but sometimes it's challenging to calculate the difference.

@jack_khrapkov great question! We approach this in two ways: (1) measuring how long it takes to do things in in Gmail and Outlook vs Superhuman (e.g. everything from setting a reminder, to writing and sending an email), and then (2) asking users how much time they think we've saved them. Both ways triangulate on the same result of 3 or more hours a week 🙂 We have yet to incorporate it in the marketing, but we also just finished another pre/post analysis that you might find interesting. We found that the in the 30 days after Superhuman compared to the 30 days before Superhuman, response rate (defined as emails replied to and sent in a given time period) went up 2x, and response time decreased by 5-13 hours!

Superhuman AI is one of the few instances where generative AI is integrated into a productivity tool in such a way that it maintains real utility and doesn't feel out of place compared to the rest of the app. As someone who is constantly drafting emails to external contacts to my org, it has been a game changer in my speed to reply back and draft emails that contain complex thoughts that need to get simplified quickly. Kudos to the team for this awesome launch 🙌

Hey @rahulvohra, congrats on the launch. The biggest use-case I see is for sales folks given how this domain is panning out. Did you guys try and test this for that persona?

@naman_agrawal3 we've tested with sales type emails it and performs well, although we've designed this for all kinds of emailing! it really shines when you want to quickly respond to something.

@chrismessina @william_wright3 welcome back!! Please try reloading Superhuman, and then hit Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) → Activate Superhuman AI. To use Superhuman AI, just hit Cmd+J or Ctrl+J in any email. Does that work?
