Congratulations on launch! Tradition courses are less interactive and more towards covering the topics instead of focusing on actual learning and community engagement. That's why we used to lost our interest over the time and couldn't finish most courses. Hope this new approach introduced by Sutra would help us learn better and actually improve the skills. @aashrut_vaghani exactly, there are different platforms for different things. If you just need to memorize some information and there is no value in engaging with other learners around that content, maybe Sutra is not the right fit, but if you know you would benefit from conversational learning with others, than we are the right platform. Curious about your online learning experience, has it mainly been the traditional courses?

@anastasiabuga right now we're mostly working with coaches, thought leaders, and influencers. We see a lot of potential for this approach in organizational contexts though.

@anastasiabuga Yes, it can be used for corporate training programs. We have instructional designers and learning and development people who create programs for their organizations on Sutra. Very popular with book authors as well.

I’ve started like 5 different online courses over the last couple of years, and it’s so funny how I’ve never gotten past like the second video. Sutra’s conversational features will be immensely helpful with actually helping you feel engaged and motivated to continue, unlike the overused and demoralizing video+quiz format that is used by everyone today. Love the product, and I hope y’all go far!

It is exciting to see Sutra's new product being launched here! I first experienced the Sutra platform in 2020 while in a program that used it for its global community building and learning enrichment space. I was so intrigued and inspired that I enrolled in the next cohort of Sutra's Transformational Experience Design (TXD) program, and have been increasingly grateful ever since as I've enrolled in other programs on the platform. One thing that I haven't seen mentioned in the rich conversation of comments today is how incredibly FLEXIBLE the platform is for program/course creators. This is not a cookie-cutter platform (which can be a great option depending on what the creator is aiming for). With this new product launch, even more flexibility has been built into the platform. You don't have to squeeze your program/course into a pre-determined format. You choose, and the 'tiny but mighty' Sutra team is totally devoted to supporting you. Designing, building, and growing the Sutra platform and expanding community of creators and users is truly a labor of love that I've experienced first hand. Congrats on launch! For me as well pretty hard to finish any online course when the only action is expected from you is to answer on questions in a test format. It is great that Sutra makes courses more interactive and social.

There is a difference for knowledge assessment through quizzes and tests and actual conversation with other learners who are in the program with you that makes the content come alive. Part of it is how the content is set up, but the biggest part are the conversational prompts and questions asked that deliver value to all participants when answered.
