This looks really cool! Is it a replacement for something like Loom?
Jay Song
@britt_joiner Hi Brittany, thank you for the comment! Not particularly, but I know it seem a lot like it. What we are trying to do here is making team communication better and less interrupting when even there are no restrictions on location and time. Exchanging video back and forth in the right way is the way we are introducing to you today and recording video is just a part, a big part, of it. Loom is great and we are even willing to use their API and SDK but we didn't want to let users go through all the extra steps to set up Loom before using Tape. Hope it answers your question!

Tape is awesome for asynchronous and efficient collaboration. Remote work has become a new way of work and life and we need tools like this. Congrats Jay!
Jay Song
@liam_ahn Thank you Liam! Working across different timezones are extremely difficult and I believe you understand that very well. 😁 Try Tape, I'm sure it will be very useful to Samsung Ventures team a lot.

Asynchronous market seems to be an ambitious market these days but Tape has a lot of potential. I love the interface and the ease of use.

@maya_ovice Hey Maya, thank you for your comment! We put maximum effort to make it easy and simple. I'm glad you love it! 😄

Wow, great idea. Most remote work apps have feature like talking, screensharing but nobody thought that we can do it asynchronously. It can be used e.g. for anyncheonous workshop? ;)
Jay Song
@m_kaliszewski I love your idea! Interacting realtime isn't always the best option. In many cases, you can have better interactions if you take a moment to understand and think in between the interactions. Maybe workshop is one of the examples. 😉
