I used Tella to record tutorial videos for my design startup. It was quick, intuitive, and fun to use. Would highly recommend!

I’m looking for a Loom alternative because every time I open the Loom app it instantly starts downloading an update and I can‘t use it until it’s done. Tella seemed promising but it drives me nuts that I can’t see how much of my video has been uploaded! There’s not even any indication that my video isn’t finished getting uploaded. I can only tell if I try to play it back (infinite loading) or export it (popup that reads “Not ready to export… Your video is still being uploaded.” Great, but how much of it has already been uploaded? 50%? 90%? 0%?? I recorded a 2 second video just to try it out. It’s still being uploaded 10+ minutes later :/ Something seems way off.

Hey @anna_0x, thanks for the feedback. Here's where to find our upload indicator: https://tella.video/tellas-uploa...

@9rantys thanks but that upload indicator never showed up for me → https://cln.sh/w9JoCO

@anna_0x weird... can you send me a message on livechat? Then we take a closer look at what's going on.

The UI/UX looks great! Any plans to release this outside the web browser too i.e. recording desktop too?
