Tender - The inbox for your finances

byβ€’
Tender is a new kind of personal finance tool centered around an inbox-zero workflow. With Tender you can review spending at your own pace without worrying that something might slip through the cracks.

I need this integrated with Monarch :). Much better way of going through my transactions.

This is really cool. I'm curious if you're specifically going after spend tracking as the primary focus of this app, or if you have the eventual goal of adding a full suite of integrations for managing net worth calculations a la Copilot Money. For what it's worth, I'm a heavy user of Copilot, but I think they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to reporting and spend visibility, and it seems yall are building as a more fully fledged solution for this part. That could be a great way to get people to switch over. If I could get a really responsive reporting tool that allows me to track spend of different categories with custom dates + cash income over time, that would be really cool. Copilot has all the data and all the barebones ideas here, but their UX is so bad for it and presents me a bunch of numbers that don't help me understand things better. Copilot also categorizes transactions into months themselves and doesn't allow you to select when you want to view over, which is super annoying. Again, they have all the ideas and data, but pushed some questionable product/ux decisions to users imo. The features that are still most valuable for me from Copilot though are (in order): 1. credit card debts to pay 2. money in my bank accounts 3. spend tracking 4. net worth / investment tracking Plus the fact that they have iOS support is huge. Curious if that's ever on your roadmap and how you'll think through the local-first approach there. I'm a mint -> copilot user and have a lot of thoughts lol so let me know if you have any more questions

@rnarayan7 Thanks for the note! Really interesting topic... we started with spend tracking and this inbox approach first because we think it's a first part of the puzzle we can immediately start providing value. We're definitely thinking about where to expand from here - as you probably know with Copilot, some of our competitors have more breadth in features and Tender's scope is smaller in comparison. We're excited about building new features, but also want to be super intentional with how they really work and fit in, in a tight way. One thing I'm super excited for is that the inbox naturally helps our users make sure their data quality is good - that transaction categorization is both useful and relevant. With that foundation I think we can do a much better job building reports that are highly useful and actionable for users.

Is there a support for this? Are you still developing? I suddenly lost the ability to download many transactions. How do I get support. (I'm a paid subscriber)
