Grammarly is a full end-user product. Tiptap AI Suggestion is a developer tool. It’s built for teams who are already building their own editor or writing interface and want to add AI suggestions directly into it, with full control over the rules, UI, and even the AI models used.
So it’s not a competitor to Grammarly, it’s the infrastructure you’d use if you were building your own version inside your product 🙃

@jonurbonas Thanks for asking. If you want to use your own backend and LLMs to generate suggestions, you can provide a custom apiResolver function. This function should call your backend and return an array of suggestions based on the editor's content and rules 😊
