Ubersuggest Keyword Planner - Free keyword overview and suggestion tool

I had been playing around with this and find this tool to be pretty neat and awesome. But forgive my ignorance as I am rather new to all this, can anyone helped explain to me on how do I read those figures? I mean the only one I understand is CPC ( Cost Per Click). So for search volume, if it is only 10, does it mean no one is searching for that? And for Competition, the higher it is, the more competitive it is, am I right? Cheers Jason S
