Hey! I’m Carl, a designer building a minimalist daily challenge for discernment

Hey everyone!

I’m Carl, a graphic designer and content specialist based in Texas. I’ve spent my career focusing on clean, minimalist aesthetics, and I recently decided to apply that to a side project I’m really passionate about.

It’s called Spot the Scripture

The Problem: We consume thousands of 'inspirational' quotes every day on social media. I noticed that a lot of 'worldly wisdom' and pop culture lyrics are starting to sound like Scripture—and vice versa.

The Solution: I built a frictionless, ad-free daily 5-question challenge. You have to decide: Is it the Word, or is it the World?

I built this with React, Vite, and Tailwind, focusing heavily on zero-layout shift and a 'typography-first' mobile UX.

I’m planning a formal launch for this coming Tuesday, but I’d love to connect with other makers who are building 'Daily Ritual' style apps or anyone interested in the intersection of faith and clean design.
