Indonesian hospitals lose billions to claim denials — we built AI to fix it

Hey Product Hunt 👋

We’re preparing to launch BPJScan by MedMinutes — an AI-powered claim audit platform built specifically for Indonesian hospitals.

If you’re not familiar with Indonesia’s healthcare system, hospitals submit claims to the national insurance program (BPJS). The problem is:
many claims are undercoded, inconsistent, or missing documentation, leading to delays, disputes, or lost revenue.

Right now, most hospitals still audit claims manually using spreadsheets. It’s time-consuming, repetitive, and easy to miss details.

So we built BPJScan.

It works by analyzing INA-CBG / E-Klaim TXT files before submission and automatically flags issues like:

  • Incorrect ICD sequencing

  • Undercoding opportunities

  • Missing clinical documentation

  • Potential revenue gaps

All powered by a set of AI-driven audit rules — without requiring integration with existing hospital systems.

Today, BPJScan is already used by 50+ hospitals across Indonesia, helping casemix teams reduce audit time by up to 60–80%.

We’re launching soon on Product Hunt 🚀
Would love your support, feedback, and questions.

If you’re working in healthcare, insurance, or health tech — curious to hear:

How do you currently handle claim validation or audit workflows?

Thanks so much 🙏
