Is a linux build on the horizon?

by

I just switched to OpenSUSE after windows kept messing with my touch pad drivers to the point where I had to reinstall them every day to somewhat fix the issue.

I've been a heavy Linux user on and off since 09 and have hopped all the distros.

I might try to run the Windows version of Tonkotsu with WINE or even Lutris, but I am unsure of how that will go.

I don't know if there will be a linux build. I know half of san fransisco is on mac so probably not lol.

but one can dream.

Linux support is definitely on the radar, but unfortunately not at the top of the list right now. Always open to hearing if more users want this so we can prioritize, though.

@derekattonkotsu

Would it help if I have tonkotsu build a distro? jk jk.

I'll ask my linux enthusiast friends if they would wanna give tonkotsu a try.

and I'll definitly post a how to if i get it running on WINE reliably

Would love a native Linux build too — devs on Linux are a serious crowd, and supporting it early builds long-term loyalty (WINE works, but native always feels better).
