Keel: An AI wellness companion that remembers you

by

Hey everyone,

I'm Tim, an Australian (living in Denmark) solo founder building Keel, a daily wellness companion app.

Most mental health apps treat every session like a blank slate. Keel doesn't. It remembers what you've talked about, what's been going on in your life, and what's helped before. So session 12 feels like a continuation, not a restart.

Here's what it does:

  • Daily check-ins: mood, energy, sleep, triggers, gratitude, journaling. Takes about a minute.

  • AI sessions: guided conversations using CBT + DBT techniques that carry your context forward. It knows your patterns, your stressors, your progress.

  • Structured programmes: multi-week guided courses for sleep, anxiety, resilience, and more. Lessons, practices, and reflections broken into small daily pieces.

  • Insights that build over time: mood trends, sleep correlations, trigger patterns, wellbeing scores. The longer you use it, the more useful it gets.

  • Privacy-first: all data stays on your device. No cloud, no accounts required to start.

I built Keel because I wanted something between a meditation app and therapy. Something that actually tracks how you're doing over weeks and months, not just in the moment.

It's pre-launch right now. I'm building a waitlist and would love to get early feedback from this community.

Happy to answer any questions about the approach, the tech, or the thinking behind it.
