OKIELA | LAUNCH DAY RECAP
Quick honest recap from Okiela’s solo founder after going live:
Infra held up well: Supabase + Vercel handled close to 20K requests with zero 5xx or DB issues.
Launch week saw 192 visitors (mainly Vietnam + US), exploring homepage → dashboard → login/signup → about/contact.
Testimonial videos were loaded 5K+ times – people actually watched them.
At least two real users tried multiple times to upgrade to a paid plan. Every checkout failed because I misconfigured the billing integration. Revenue for day one was exactly 0.
On paper, Okiela’s Stage 1 journey is:
Landing → Auth → First‑run dashboard → Upload CSV / sample store → KPIs & charts → AI chat → Free limits → Upgrade → Share link.
In reality, logs showed drop‑offs at auth and first‑run dashboard, a fragile upload → KPI/AI flow, and a completely broken checkout.
I’m now:
Fixing billing end‑to‑end
Hardening a single Golden Path and hiding outdated routes
Inviting a small group of early users to test the fixed version with a 3‑month Pro code and send brutal feedback
If you’re running an ecommerce brand and want to try an honest, still‑in‑progress profit copilot, I’d love to hear from you.
