What do you think about Microsoft buying GitHub?

Microsoft certainly has enough resources and experience to develop the platform and implement new features, but many people may have concerns that Microsoft may change the values and philosophy of GitHub, since it was previously an independent and open platform, or that Microsoft may limit the availability and value of GitHub to the open source developer community. I am interested in your opinion

We have all given away our source code to Microsoft for free, I would be ashamed if I were the founder of Github, it's a betrayal.

from user side, it was such an unexpected action and sad but, feom MS side, probably one of the most strategic buying and an important step of to build DEV centered product/service ecosystem
