Hey Everyone, thanks for checking us out :) It is both exciting and humbling to see your support and be building a product that will help couples focus on celebrating their love rather than stressing over wedding details. Thanks for the Product Hunt love!!
I'm about one month away from the big day... having everything in the one place would have made our lives much easier. Site looks great guys, good luck!
@jamesstav Thanks so much James!
And fun fact: If you wanted a way to collect all the photos your guests take at the wedding, you can still use Joy :) We built Joy so that guests can use either the website or app, or both.
All your guests have to do is download the app and join your wedding to start sharing photos.
We've actually had some creative couples create photo "I Spy" games at their wedding to capture all the moments that their photographer may have missed. They just had little signs with the app, their wedding code, and a list of moments, like "Getting ready for the big day", "Group photo of everyone at your table", or "Groom's sweet dance move", and they were able to collect tons of photos :)

Making something easy is hard and this is so well done for phase one! It'd be interesting to include an option for playlists created by invited guests as another event memento, too(?). I'm thinking especially for the RSVP regrets who have an opportunity to leave something more as a personal response/expression than 'sorry, unable to attend'...or something like that.
Probably high demand for this, especially since everyone in the US can get marries now. Good luck making that ish less stressful for all the happy couples out there, team @joytheapp
Good stuff, esp relevant to me at the moment!
Some feedback on your second FAQ:
----
What's the catch? How do you make money?
It may sound too good to be true, and it is. We promise! We know being a core backbone of your wedding will provide us ample opportunities to make money in the future, especially from giants involved in the wedding industry. In the meantime, if you like what we do, the best thing you can do is tell someone who is getting married about Joy.
---
1. That makes it sound like there is a catch - is this intentional or should that read '....but it is'.
2. Beyond the first sentence, it makes is sounds like data/photos and the rest will potentially be sold to big corporations in the future or that an entire guest list will be hounded with ads/sales by big corporations (giants) during the wedding. If that is the aim, then well done to being up front, but I suspect you mean differently in which case it may be better worded:
*
'It may sound too good to be true, but it is. We promise! At this stage, our focus is to spread the word about Joy to become the core backbone of weddings around the world. We will, in the future, monetise via premium offerings and/or collaborations but rest assured, your data is safe and all current features of Joy are free.
*
Or something along those lines.... Just my 2c.. Good luck!
@hemalr87 That's great feedback. You are much better with words than we are :)
I'll make a note to update our copy, because you really hit the nail on the head.
There isn't a catch – we are free (and will always be free for anything who has already made a Joy wedding).
@hemalr87 Beautifully written. This captures it perfect. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

yeah, It's a cool website and I also featured my wedding there with all the pictures and I also suggest every bride and groom feature their wedding on JOY. There I Didn't need to pay for any of my website hosting and domain name. And also allowed me to mention the Planners name with their links. Thanks withJOY.com
<3 Loved the INTERFACE of the Website.. <3
