Just signed up for service, got the visible R2, Process is super simple and fast. The phone got shipped Fedex, got it in 1 day. After several speed test readings in different parts of the city, I noticed the speed is blocked at 5 MBps download. This is a Shame, when I purchased was under the impression that speeds would be between 5- 15 MBPS, only hotspot was kept at 5 download. I was hoping that would be true, but it is NOT. What a disappointment!!! Most likely will not be keeping service beyond 1 month.

@marcio_1 What a nightmare. I now will waste their time like they did to me. I will chat witithem and torment them until I get tired if doing it. They Suck ass!!!

Don't do it! We had problems porting to them (on their side) and that should have been the sign to abort but we continued on to give them a chance. Phones would randomly not make calls and not receive text messages with the error, message expired. Have had this reoccurring issue since starting for our two months of service and have had enough. Have contacted customer support on multiple occasions regarding these issues and they can only temporarily resolve them. Customer support is only chat based. Now we are porting out, one number ported fine but surprise, surprise we cannot port the other number. They have 'resolved' the issue by escalating it according to our manager. That is the text that was used in the support e-mail to us. So now we wait to see if they can figure out why the number won't port due to being 'inactive' or if we want to lose a number we have had for 5+ years. The hassle is not worth the small savings.

@ispekhov If you live in Vancouver or Toronto, I highly recommend switching to Freedom Mobile. They have a 5GB of 4G data +3GB bonus for 24 months, text, and Canada + US calling for $50/month (https://www.freedommobile.ca/pla...). I have been with them for ~8 months with no complaints, aside from waiting 1 hour for the phone activation (it was a Saturday afternoon and they were having an additional 10% off sale), you can typically just sign-up online.

Signup went pretty quick, only issue I had was that I needed to contact support to find out that I needed to follow my verizon account number with a "-1", so "XXXXXXXXX-1". Other than that, signup went quick and my customer service rep Christian was prompt, Knowledgeable, and helpful. I expect this to be just like my normal service since it its on Verizon's backbone. I will update this review if I run into any issues.

They run on the Verizon network and are owned by Verizon so you are getting Verizon service, unlimited everything, including data, for $40/month! They are running a special right now where you get between $100 and $200 for switching to Visible or for buying a new or pre-owned phone through their website. My wife and I are both on Visible and we actually stopped paying for home internet service and now just use our unlimited hotspot. I've found their customer service chat and email to resolve issues quickly.

@seth_ I was so excited about getting iPhone 7 w/unlimited everything. It'll be my 1st iPhone. I popped in the sim card and download Visible app. I was able to logon to the Visible account on the phone. My phone indicated that I have Visible data/internet on my phone (upper left corner.) BUT when my friend called me the call went to the old carrier. I contacted Visible through text 99370 and waited for more than an hour but no one replied back. I tried a different way of contact by going through chat on PC and waited more than two hours w/o any response. I got an email from Visible two days ago that my old carrier released the # to Visible. In the past, my parents got me the Android phone w/unlimited everything plan but they always keep checking my phone. This's why I want a new phone+plan on my own using my saving and my allowance. So far, I am still using my Android phone with an old carrier from my parents. If I can turn back the time, I would not do the transfer. 😞 😭😢 Tell me how did you get a customer service rep to respond to you. How long did you have to wait? I have a screen shot to show you that they did not respond back at all with date/time stamp.

@marcio_1 Lucky you. We NEVER in our two month trial of the service got near 5 mbps.

So far my experience is not good, I ordered a device Tuesday night and I ordered another yesterday morning. I have not received my tracking information on either, I didn’t get a email about what’s going on with my orders. I made a second order to test the internet speeds just in case I decide to return my first order. I talked to a rep about my first order, it’s like I was given a BS excuse. Now, Visible all you have to do is send me a phone and SIM card is it that hard.? Now I have to wait til Monday or Tuesday to see if I will receive either device or can I cancel the orders.

I can not express how much poor this service is. Visible has charged me over a thousand dollars for services not received and has refused to refund me or even contact me to resolve the issue. I have spent countless hours on their chat line attempting to get in contact with someone that can process my returns and simply give me my money back. That is the short version of my story, here are the details. Three weeks ago I ordered a phone with sim card from them. However, by using their app to do this (do not do this), I was charged the full amount to a the wrong account. This resulted in me having to return the phone when it was delivered. Shipping information was lost and I still to this day have not been able to receive a refund even though I have contacted FedEx and found that it was delivered weeks ago. My second attempt (also do not do this) arrived today after much delay. The phone arrived but the sim card is absent. There is support from customer service. The best bet is the text or twitter lines. The chat box on the website is useless. Expect three hour waits on the text line to be told that a specialist will contact you in 24 hours or less and that your case is a priority. I have been told this three times and at no point have I received a phone call from them. I am refunding everything and using PayPal's Buyer Protection to get my money back.
