This seems like it would be good to take to a lecture :) Congrats on your launch!

Good luck with the product launch! Love how active the devs are and how fast the product is improving. I see a lot of potential here. Voice notes aren't how I'd usually want to create notes personally, but I think it'll help with articulating myself and allow me to work faster. The AI addition is a great benefit too - I can only see this getting better and better.

@masum_rana2 Thank you, Masum and we hope the product changes your opinion about voice notes. :)

Cool! GPT-4o has just been released, you can try using the latest LLM API
Jijo Sunny
@heard It's live! If you're using Voicenotes, you're also using GPT-4o.

Hey @jijosunny congrats on the launch! 🥳 What could be the USP of your product which makes it different from another?? keep going.
Jijo Sunny
@sheikhirfan10 The honest answer is that we don’t know. I’m sure there are some great products for specific use-cases, but Aleesha and I set out to build Voicenotes because we couldn’t find anything that we would use ourselves. And our use-case was very simple: take quick notes and make sense of it when we need them with minimal effort. Our goal is simply to build the most delightful product for our daily use.

@jijosunny well said.. Go Big.

Congratulations @jijosunny on Voicenotes! The ability to ask about every word spoken is intriguing. 👏 How does the app distinguish between various speakers in a conversation when transcribing?
Jijo Sunny
@ashwinaravind It doesn't at the moment. It's built for the personal journalling use-case, but captures conversations very well.

Love it. And with the lifetime offer ... you made another believer :)
Jijo Sunny
@zemartial Well, thanks for "believing" :)

Looks pretty amazing @jijosunny !. An ideas perhaps you might be interested in - How about a person is able to share these notes such as summary, notes, anything on whatsapp, ig etc? The crux - Including sharing option. Will be win win for both- You get more users and user gets to share things easily with other users
Jijo Sunny
@nikhil111 You can currently share from the web and it works as a lightweight podcast too! Demo: https://x.com/voicenotesai/statu...

This app was a ‘wow I wish I had something like this’ idea that I had for a while. Excited to say, this is everything I’d thought I needed and more. Can’t wait to be a part of this journey - kudos to the team for launching this PLUS to productivity workflows! One suggestion: Would be great if we can ask questions too via voice memos, in addition to typing in the chat window.
Jijo Sunny
@caitincheng <3 so glad to hear it, Caitlin. Voice-to-voice for Ask My AI is currently available on the web. Soon on the apps.

Looks really cool, and seems to work very smoothly! I've tried to achieve something like this using a custom GPT but that obviously gets very messy, so I've definitely been looking for something like this. I also really like the "names to remember" feature, since I have noticed in the ChatGPT app that while it does understand my Swedish very well almost always, sometimes it insists in having "heard" the strangest things, that are not even real words 😂 One tiny thing I thought about would be that the automatic summary (title) would be even more nice if it was done in the same language as the transcription itself instead of always in English! Edit: I notice the same thing with other features such as summaries and to-do lists etc. Should likely be an easy fix if you add an instruction in the system prompts for these to follow the same language as the transcription itself!
Jijo Sunny
@andreekeberg Excellent feedback, thank you. We're working on honouring the input language across the board.
