@kevingibbon Thanks Kevin! You're right, it is hard to get people to switch from zoom. But we've found that Vowel works cohesively to solve so many problems that Zoom doesn't solve that people are eager to switch to this "game changer" of a product. I literally never re-watched a zoom call when I was at companies that used it to meet & recorded meetings. But I revisit past Vowel meetings all the time (like time travel) to grab that one insight, that context on the decisions, or even just to brunch up on the key parts of an important meeting that I had to miss.

@kevingibbon @anna_marie_clifton Thanks so much for sharing! The Zoom/Meet plugin space is definitely crowded — but these add-ons can be hard to set up, clunky, and costly. Glad to hear Vowel is solving multiple pain points for you! p.s. Were you using a Zoom plugin before Vowel? Would love to hear about that experience!

@kevingibbon I completely agree! A key goal of Vowel is helping teams have more effective and organized meetings. After all, people’s time is valuable. But that’s another key value of Vowel, as teams can get so much more value out of meetings by searching across their meetings to find important ideas and action items, as well as sharing clips and meetings (which is certainly more efficient than having the “same meeting again” just to relay ideas that were already discussed/ presented to a different set of participants).

@silvi_hambardzumian I always did too! Vowel makes it easy to take quick & light notes because all of them are time stamped and saved in-line with the transcript so the context of the note is always right there. No more questioning "what was that note about again?"

@silvi_hambardzumian It's hard to take meeting notes that are actually useful after the fact! With Vowel, you can take shared notes with your team (that everyone can see) AND those notes are time-stamped to the recording + transcript so you get the note as well as the context. And you can always see past notes from recurring meetings while you're in a current meeting. :)
