Have been using Project Fi which has the same idea, pay for what you use. I find myself in wifi land most of the time, so it works for me, but if you find your self using your data plan all the time, this will turn out to be very very expensive very fast.

I switched to wing with an unlocked Google Pixel 3a. I had been with Verizon FOR YEARS and the price tag was just too much for one line. When I discovered Wing I immediately signed up and wasted no time activating when the SIM card arrived. Here is where my issues began:
1. When I activated I did not have LTE service. It only read HSPA+ Which is the 4G backhaul.
2. When chatting with an agent to get my LTE up and running, the agent went on to argue with me and told me that I was not following the steps she was providing. She literally told me " Well, your phone would work if you'd just follow these simple instructions. When I told her that I was, she continued to argue that I wasn't.
3. 3 hours after activating, dealing with no LTE coverage, dealing with a rude rep (Katie T im looking at you), I FINALLY get into contact with my "account manager". She apologized and tried to make it right after reading how rude the rep was to me. ( she had the transcript) I respectfully declined the offer she gave me and asked for a refund and my account number so I could go somewhere else. =She kept pushing that I take the deal she was trying to give me, and i told her if she could call me and we could talk it out that i would consider the offer. She immediately told me id hear about a refund on Monday and disconnected that chat. NEVER gave me my account number. So i decided i would chat with them tomorrow so i could go to bed. Fast forward to Saturday morning, i get into chat and ask for my account number, and guess what! ONLY ACCOUNT MANAGERS CAN GIVE THAT INFO OUT AND NO ACCOUNT MANAGERS WORK ON THE WEEKENDS. WHAT. What company doesn't have a manager working on weekends?! So now i am stuck with a new number to use since my wing service isn't working. I was put on the att side.
over all i would not recommend wing. While i agree that the price tag is nice, you can go to better places for the same price. This company has a long way to go before they are ready for anything.

Wing is so terrible. Don't use. I got it because I was traveling for 4 months, and I had a lot of outages. I broke my phone and needed to get a new one so I got it through Wing--it's been weeks and weeks and I still don't have a working phone.
I ordered the phone and they said it would take 14 business days to ship (there is no rush option). 2 days after I order, I get an email from Wing telling me that before they put in the order I need to provide more info...which they should already have, like who my carrier is (THEY ARE!) They also tell me that they don't have any Sprint-sim-compatible phones in stock, so they would need to ship me an AT&T phone (I...didn't even know this was a thing?). Fine. Whatever. 14 business days go by and nothing. Only after I follow up with them do they let me know that somehow the shipment that had my phone in it was lost and they give me vague info about what they're trying to do to solve problem. Another couple weeks of them never providing me ANY information (I have to follow up to find out anything), they finally ship my phone. I get it and, though they insisted I had to get an AT&T phone because there was nothing else available, they screw up and send me a Sprint sim, so I can't even set up my phone. I call to insist they overnight me a new sim, to which the "manager" says he needs special approval to do. Just....don't use Wing. It's so bad.

Simply discussing their data plans on Fb on their ad about how 3gb is not enough data, then to only jump to unlimited, lead to a BAN FOREVER on their account. THATS CHILDISH AND PATHETIC. Thats extremely poor taste and horrible customer service. Simply talking via text to their "helpful" whatever they are called, gave conflicting information from their site, ignored questions or simply did not acknowledge what I needed as a consumer. and they're trying to win my business? Cant imagine how bad it will be after Im already signed up.

I have told them at least five times to not charge my card. They just charged yet again today, even though I cancelled with them 3 months ago. I have opened up a fraud claim with my bank as I have it in writing me saying to not charge me again and them stating they would not.
This is not worth the small amount of savings you will get, The customer service is horrible, and even when you have it set NOT to be on auto pay they will still do it. You cannot delete your card on their site without putting another one on. This is the biggest scam ever, do not fall for their "low prices and savings" you will regret it!

If you actually did what you said. Big RIP off people. They try to charge you more money for your plan, which is suppose to be unlimited. Bill you as if it's a prorated credit. But tell you you used three days service before your billing cycle. Which I joined on the 1st of the month. But their billing cycle starts on the 5th. The it seems like it's the same gentleman I speak to everytime I call the billing dept. Then there are no supervisors.

Had phone service activated. Was able to make one phone call, one text, never had data. Used the online customer service. No one could get the service to work. I asked for a refund and was told unfortunately I couldn’t get a refund so I told them I would dispute the charges on my debit card. The very next day my phone wouldn’t even make a call. The recording I got when I tried to make a phone call said my phone had been network blocked. They reported my phone and it was put on the imei block list. I can’t use my phone unless I have WiFi. Called customer service this time and they kept bouncing me around to different departments for so long that I have to wait and call back tomorrow. Will update this post once I call back tomorrow. If they don’t fix it someone from Wing will be buying me a new phone (iPhone 8+)

i started my service with them last July, so far, I never had issues. I use more than 100GB every month because of work and downloading movies for entertainment, yet, my speed hasn't reduced a bit. Try them. ;)

just started a service last July with them, and I love it until now. I read these reviews and was afraid to switch, but glad that I give it a try. Trying is not a bad thing.
